The most unlikely winners actually end up winning the event. Last year, a horrible, dreadful song by Russia won. That's how it always goes.

I remember sitting in front of the tv last year, watching one of the semi-finals. I wrote down the best and worst songs and nearly all bad songs went through to the finals. Europe has no taste; a Dianne Warren ballad may just win.

I would like to believe our Malena will do very well in ESC. She will certainly be the only opera star! But considering that the international jury gave the song only 1 point, maybe it won't do that well in Europe after all...

The danish entry is so appallingly bad that I won't even link to it. In my opinion it was the worst of the 10 mediocre (at best) songs in our national competition.

I haven't yet heard the song; I'll check it out later. But Andrew Lloyd Webber is certainly somebody who wrote some masterpieces. Interesting choice by the UK, and rather different from their entries in recent years. Gemini being the most memorable

I think Norway is going to win. I predicted that even before Alexander Ryback had won the Norwegian final. I think Psb fans might enjoy the Albanian entry this year. It's one of my favourites this year...

Woo! look who was right. I think that was probably the best final ever. The winning song might just actually become a hit outside of the ESC fan circle, it already is top 10 in Sweden.
