I watched it once and found it totally cringeworthy. Having said that, a DVD release would be interesting if there were some enticing extra features.

It's a fantastic film! The Japanese laserdisc is one of my prized PSB items!

Sorry for bumping an old thread. It's gone midnight, I should go to bed but ICHH is on Sky Arts and I can't work out for the life of me why they agreed to do it, particularly Chris.

I can imagine Neil fancying himself as bit of a thespian but Chris????? Even if they weren't touring back then, there's a big difference between making a film where you actually have to say lines and something like Performance where any acting is pretty much just looking moody.

It's such a bizarre part of their history. Completely inexplicable.

I finally got to see it a while back on YouTube. My immediate thought was “what the hell did I just watch” . Out of curiosity I read the comments under the video and someone else wrote the exact thing I was thinking. 🤣

Not the greatest of copies but worth it for watching Gareth Hunt and his bad jokes and only about a fiver
And CHRISSY BOOOOOOYYYYYYYYY! Ha! I bet we bought from the same seller. I had read all the comments about the film and considered myself forewarned, so one night I forearmed myself with a box of cheap red wine and decided to invent an ICHH drinking game, whereby I watched the film and drank whenever I felt it necessary to do so. Unfortunately it worked way too well so I have no idea why the film suddenly went all North by Northwest or why they ended up in the nightclub.

But I'll try it again sometime! After all, I have a new box of cheap red!

ICHH The Song still remains one of my favorites.

You do know the film was issued on Blu Ray a couple of years ago right? Why are you buying VHS transfers???

I got it on VHS somewhere in a wardrobe somewhere... there's a digital file on some harddrive somewhere.... The soundtrack is one to the great "lost albums" by PSB, together with:

Bobby O 1984 album
A Man From The Future
Live at the Hacienda
"Nightlight"
2002/3 electro album
2004 Popart = the songs written as presumptive singles from the GH-compilation
2019 Agenda/Lost = combination of Lost and Agenda to form a basis for the follow up to Super

Because as far as I can tell, the Blu-ray is region-locked to Europe and the regular DVD is PAL. And I'm in the US. And the rip was way cheaper.

I will happily drop cash on the reissue if I'm guaranteed a way to play it. Any North Americans managed to do that?

(And alright, alright, so I was replying to a 15-year-old post, I was obviously still under the influence... )
