I've always detested Onan Keating (so named because he was a virgin until marriage, the wanker) so I can't even be accused of jumping on any bandwagons.
He's shit, his music is shit and everything he's ever touched or looked at is shit.

He's shit but if it weren't for the chart battle with Yes I wouldn't really see any point in bothering to hate him. He never has and never will be taken remotely seriously and he doesn't even really get much airplay anymore. It's a bit like getting worked up about Donny Osmand; why bother?
That said the Jade Goody cancer thing, if true, would be a particularly pathetic attempt at taking advantage of a ridiculous public hysteria.

He was shit last year, and he'll be shit next year. regardless of whether he is up against PSB. It is a perfect time for the poll, though, given the circumstances.
