Masterful.

Roger is one of the top three sportsmen that I have ever seen, along with Maradona and Warne, and the only one who hasn't had to cane the English in order to endear himself to me that little bit more.

Andy Murray is getting hammered just now, 3-6 6-3 0-6.

Gonzalez is playing bloody well.....although he's just lost his serve to love whilst serving for the match.

And then broken Murray to love to win the match. I like Murray but the one good thing about him going out is that they can start showing some tennis again instead of Sue Barker chatting about f*cking Cliff Richard up the arse with a strap-on in a f*cking studio.

Haha It looks like they just rejigged the MOTD studio slightly... Murray played OK aprt from the third set, but Gonzalez was awesome.

Robin Söderling - "Rafa" Killer!

So many years have passed since a Swede went this far in a Grand Slam Tournament, so this feels really great. Unfortunately I haven't seen any game on tv yet, but believe me: tomorrow I will be seated (if the game isn't already over by the time I finish at work) - and hopefully on Sunday with Robin in the final!

Federer vs. Soderling final. Two fantastic matches and whilst I was always rooting for Federer, I felt sorry for Del Potro, as he played some stunning tennis in the first 3 sets of the match and even found a slight second wind in the fifth as Federer was in danger of running away with it. Like Murray, the key to unlocking the remainder of Del Potro's massive talent will be his general fitness; once that's sorted, he'll bag himself a major sooner rather than later.

When I arrived to my girlfriend's flat to watch the finish of Söderling's game, Gonzalez led by 4-1 in the final set...

Wow. Two fantastic matches. Yes, Del Potro is a future Grand Slam winner for sure. He was a revelation, and took defeat like a man rather than a two-year old child. Hi Didier!

He surely deserved it. Söderling didn't stand a chance...

By the way, does anyone know what Federer's first language is? Based on his name I assumed it was German, but he speaks French very fluently, at least to my ears. He probably speaks both languages, although he was born in the German-speaking part of Switzerland (Basel).

The ladies competition just got a little more interesting.
