I still absolutely love and full heartedly agree with everything PigletWildebeest wrote in my prejudices thread, it's just so true :

And now, just to get the forum biting my head off, the English: live on an island the size of a doormat and think they (still) rule the world. Pissed that they had to give up their colonies and can't enforce their rules upon them anymore. Hate going away from their island and hate everything that isn't english. Refer to the continent as "Europe", to make sure they aren't thought of as Europe themselves. Want to make all the decisions in Europe, even though they don't want to be a part of it. Think they have the highest standard of living in the world, but are very off the mark. Have the silly idea that everyone wants to live in their country, but don't realise that's only because you don't need an identity card to live there legally. Drink too much. Especially abroad. Don't realise Belgian beer is stronger than ale or whatever it is. Can lead to funny situations. They gave the world Jeremy Clarkson. need we say more?
