My friend had picked ground seats which was a mistake as everyone stood up. Luckly the girl next to him was much shorter and so I could see most of it. Side seats I think are better, but then you cannot so easily 'bop', for that, then it is better standing. The crowd were a bit pathetic really, however, Morten did get people motivated around Hunting High and Low... Felt a bit sorry for them. Great set list though as I need to catch up on their new stuff and I hope they have another goodbye gig in a few years...

The 'Hunting high and low' / audience story was a perfect description of the Birmingham gig too. They didn't really give the audience much of a clue that they wanted participation, so it took a while to get going and even then the audience were poor. I think there was too much sadness that it is 'the end' for people to get properly into it.

'The bandstand' was superb live - sounds like they repeated it's great performance at your gig.

I'm now left wishing I'd booked another gig. Really sad to think I'll never see them again.

Loads of Oslo tickets on eBay. If I had a passport that hadn't expired last year I'd be taking a late decision to go.

A-ha were my second ever 'favourite group', after Ultravox and before PSB.

It sounds ridiculous, and I'm totally being honest - I'm starting to feel real, pit of the stomach grief, and they're not even finished yet!

saw the show at in Bournemouth, loved the techno ish bit which went into The Sun......... .
was sold out as well which was great to see. Good visuals and it was nice to see them not go into the whole leather waistcoated rock bullshit like in the past.

I went to the last ever gig in Oslo on Saturday. It was an amazing night and incredibly emotional. Well worth the 1430 mile round-trip- I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

A great shame to think that's it.

Hahaha, yeah, I know.
But to be honest, I'd be delighted if that happened. I can wait 5 or 10 years...

Well, they've already done it once, so I'd be surprised to see it happen again.

Jealous of you Becci for making the final gig. What was it like toward/at the end?

Really enjoyed the gig in Manchester. Shame it was their last tour, as it was the best show I've ever seen them out on, from the setlist to the set production. They've basically left a message on their forum saying 'thanks for the memories'. Just hope in time they are reappriased. The public has often had great affection for them, and I personally rate them far higher than many of the stadium acts who have coasted on lesser songs.

for all interested...one Compilation over 25 years of A-Ha...

Decided against buying that as I already have the audio content elsewhere and the DVD on the CD+DVD edition has not had a great reception in online reviews I've seen.

I've been listening to the Foot of the Mountain CD.
Really good this one. It's like A-ha's Yes interpretation!

Only 10 times less cheesy and 10 times better!
