My family living in Kochi was temporarily evacuated from their home of tsunami even though very far from Touhoku.
eric was on the 52nd floor that time.

I don't think it's about right/left wing. I'm very far from right wing but I'd consider myself to be pro-nuclear in general, based on the evidence I've seen as opposed to hyperbole.

This is an old design of reactor, not the same as new ones that are being proposed, and also it was built by the coast in a tsunami zone. Not the best planning if you ask me...

Also according to this article, health risks from nuclear disasters are much more down to the fear of radiation than the radiation itself.

anyways a nice article on the japense people today how they are going thru this event with diginity.theres no riots,theres no mass looting, which in all likelyhood would have occured here in america given our minoritys culture.

also a nice article on how some groups are exploiting japans tragedy to compain about nuclear energy. as the article rightly says....lets not build tall buildings because a 9.0 quake can occur.

Nobody's denying that there is a f*ckton of violence perpetrated by Muslims. For crying out loud, my avatar on this forum for years was a picture of a still-standing twin towers with the tagline "Imagine no religion". Evidently that little factoid slipped your goldfish-like memory.

What I take issue with is the way you draw a conclusion about most or all Arabs/Muslims based on the actions of a few.

I work with people of all races and beliefs at work, muslims/atheists/indians included, and its all laughs.
but there is a mentality like yours that is at the core of why white,77 year old ladies get told to take off their shoes at airports.
