That would have been slightly hilarious had Bowie not been bigger than ever at that time. Let's not forget that only 18 months before the Let's Dance album was only second to Thriller as the best-seller of 1983, and Bowie scored three UK No.1 albums in a row in the first half of the 80s, something he'd never done in the 70s.

Of course, it was Bowie (with Jagger) who scored the only No.1 single as a direct result of Live Aid. Forget what it was called now.....
