Not interested at all in the wedding but i do think the British do these things better than anyone else. Does Kate get a title? Princess of ???? She is a beautiful lady.

The Royal Wedding shows the BBC up for what it is: a conservative and reactionary institution with its nose so far up the establishment's fundament that it's just not funny.

Lest we forget, the BBC's former chief political correspondent takes out super injunctions to prevent the free press reporting on his jug-eared philandering.

If this guy saved... koalas from burning forest - I think it deserves some attention. I don't know who that woman and that guy. Royal wedding, what those people did to get so much attention? Stopped a war or saved African children?

I didn't see all of it this morning on tv as I had to go out, but I saw the actual ceremony, and watched highlights on itv this evening. They both looked so genuinely happy. Something which was missing from Diana's wedding!
Made me proud to be british seeing all those crowds of people and flags being waved.

It was a nice day. There was a big party. We all had a day off. Everyone looked happy. The music was great. All went according to plan. No-one died.

my mother said she was up at 4 in the morning till 6 watching it. she said it was awesome.

I noticed too the happiness and emotion during the ceremony at the Abbey. And the Middletons are such a beautiful family, aren`t they? Especially the young James - his reading from the Gospel was so nice to see and hear!

I think the majority of Britain just see it as something to celebrate - nothing more. Hasn't the news been grim in the last few years? Let's forget it FOR ONE DAY even with the usual pretentious party poopers.

Jingoistic, Lucy, is looking down on other nations as inferior than our own. It used to have a more sinister meaning. Celebrating Britain (by default, that's what today was all about) isn't being jingoistic, it's just having a knees-up.

I wasn't going to pay much attention to it, but I knew there was no avoiding it so I watched a bit of it tonight and I thought it was all very well done.
