bizarre as in this is the first time I've logged in and read this thread. So Cold The Night is a sleazy classic, I thought it was sexy-ish before I really knew what sex was. Heartbeat is another classic

Both Communards albums are just brilliant. Period.

I also like a lot Jimmy's work, but usually happen lo like much more non single stuff. Three songs of him are always on my playlist: 'From This Moment On' (from the 'Red Hot and Blue' various artists album), 'It Still Hurts' and the marvelous 'Under A Lovers Sky' from one of his latest albums. Never tired of this three....

Picked up the two Jimmy Sommerville 2Cd reissues today for three quid each. Sadly no copies of the Communards reissues. It was in HMV if anyone fancies trying to get hold of em

People forget now how big Jimmy Somerville was in the 80's, with Bronski, then the Communards & finally his solo career. I didn't know PSB knew him & in particular that Chris shared a house with him etc.
