The jobs aren't disappearing due to better technology, they're being shipped overseas purposefully. The west is being destroyed by design by the bankers/globalists/satanists/Illuminati through governmental means and policies, which is why I believe a bare-bones federal government is necessary for a country to recover.

Someone said this same thing to me recently, I forget where or even if it was you, but my response is that eugenics is the plan of the NWO, who I am against... Are the masses stupid? Yes, its inarguable, a fact. Am I pissed about it? Yes. Do I want to kill everyone? No, I'm not a psycho globalist. Its the same cabal who have dumbed everyone down with propaganda, vaccines, chemtrails, GMO and fluoride. Now they want to kill 95% of the population and have spread the myths of global warming and overpopulation to get people feeling guilty for being human. Anyways, my criticism stems from disappointment, and a desire to see people demand more from themselves intellectually. Not to cull them, but to raise the alarm that something is wrong so they shake off their brainwashing.

And you should really stop with the 'but Neil disagrees with you'. The man is a musician who lives off his creativity, he's like a freak in that he has a skewed ability beyond everybody else to make good music, and that's where most of his energy and effort goes. There are a few musicians who have non-mainstream and non-state-fed viewpoints, but its only a small number. In fact of the one's who do, I'm not usually a fan of their music. Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins for example. Their music is very bland and mediocre, especially album tracks and non-singles, but he's an exceptionally intelligent individual I'd much rather go to to hear ideas from than Neil or Chris. This interview is very good:

Yeah, Neil would be considered an extreme autistic and locked down in a facility if not for his music making abilities

I enjoyed voting for the first time since becoming a citizen, and even more so enjoyed the way the election night enveloped. The Romney concession speech was incredibly awful, and I just know Obama's acceptance speech is gonna be fantastic.
What? I most certainly know how the system works. Without looking anything up I could tell you exactly how many electoral votes each state has. I'm just naturally pessimistic and a few weeks ago Romney DID see a substantial increase in his polling that for a while seemed to not reverse itself even after losing two debates. Sure at that point Obama was still leading in the state polls, but the momentum was against him. Thankfully that development was reversed. Noone is happier about it than me.

Yes, this is sadly true a lot of the time. I find the best way to feel disappointed is to hear your favourite musicians (actually actors are even worse) talking about wider issues. They come across as clueless as the next man, but then as you say, they are musicians, actors, etc. They're not social observers or commentators. Problem is sometimes they think they are and that's when they make tits of themselves. Jarvis Cockup came across as a bit stupid on Question Time a year or two back, though I'm sure his heart's in the right place.

I think Jarvis Cocker, given his lyrical bent, could actually be classified a "social observer".

OK, bad example. He just happened to pop into my limited memory. He came across pretty badly on TV

So, when will you be taking out Somali citizenship and moving to Mogadishu?

I don't understand, this is a complex argument with many facets and you're attempting to turn it into a black and white/this or that issue for the sake of a glib soundbyte?

I don't like government, so go to Somalia, because if any country limits their government it turns into Somalia. That's not childish at all Drico, and it's not surprising you got an OH SNAP from level-headed fist of filth.

What examples would you care to put on the table of libertarian paradise experiment utopia dream countries?

How could there be any if I believe the Illuminati have been in control for God knows how long? Even Somalia is no example, they aren't exactly full of citizens clamoring for liberty. They're merely being repressed and exploited in a different way than the western nations, but the same force is behind the repression. Africa would be a jewel were they allowed to keep the fruits of their labours and resources. It's laughable to even suggest that their country is a reason not to have small government when our monstrously huge governments are the reason for Africa being in the shape it is.

Does this complex argument include 12-foot lizards in the higher echelons of government?

You're not in any position to call anybody's comment childish given your predilection for Godzilla fantasies.

Oh, a fly has just landed in my living room. Please excuse me. It's breakfast time and I've got to put my tongue to better use.

The real problem is rich and powerful people, nations and organisations with various interests and agendas competing with each for power and profit at the expense of others. By reducing this to some just-so story about a shadowy cabal with a plan for the world, it's you who are oversimplifying the situation, whateverman.
We are star stuff which has taken its destiny into its own hands. The loom of time and space works the most astonishing transformations of matter. We are a way for the universe to know itself.
