Good b-side, but definitely sounds like a b-side to me... shades of GIn And Jag (Frisky Mix), This Used To Be The Future and The Resurrectionist, with the BPM wisely pulled back a notch.
This.
Plus a hint of "Entschuldigung!".

My first thought when I listened to those two snippets on SoundCloud.

I'd like to do a list of b-sides that have had their very own remix.
I'm waiting to get my 7" which might be before christmas to hear Decide.

It's certainly quintessential PSB, with the European trance influence showing in the second half, which sadly for me, is the half I like least. It's a very strong b side.

It's never too late for Pet Shop Boys to release such a brilliant single as Decide!
Thanks Neil!
Thanks Chris!

After a couple of more listens :
This could in my opinion even be a single.
Is it Pet Shop Boys by numbers?
Perhaps. But those numbers are bloody excellent from my point of view.

... and it makes 'heather' (sic: no capital letter) sound even more epic.
I've haven't listened to the single edit for a while - i've been enjoying the 'unofficial mix' but it accidentally came on after the CYA remix and it sounded like vintage classic PSB.
'Decide' is outstanding though. How on earth are they still making current-sounding tracks that still sound like its March 1986?
Can't wait for the album.
G.

Hard to hear this as anything but a prophetic commentary on yesterday's general election and effect on Brexit given Neil's well publicised feelings on the issue. The release date can't be a coincidence.
That said this is a pumping tune. Deserves a double A side.

Lyrics now on the official site:
It’s time to make up your mind
It’s time to make up your mind
Do we want to fight
or do we want to love?
Can’t we just live together?
Do we want to stay
or do we want to run?
Could this dream not last forever?
It’s time to make up your mind
Do we want to sink
or do we want to swim?
The rain can’t last forever
Do we want to die
or do we want to live?
Surely we belong together?
It’s never too late
Fight for love
or love to fight
Oh, what have we done?
What have we done?
It’s never too late
It’s never too late
Fight for love
or love to fight
Oh, what have we done?
What have we done?

I got the single package on iTunes USA and the strangest thing has happened. It won't let me play Decide. I can play the remix but not the original song. When I press play iTunes tells me that I need to authorize the computer and when I do that it says it's already authorized. Anyway, I heard it on YouTube and it's a fantastic song! The remix is quite good too but I prefer the original version.
Now fixed on iTunes and have it on repeat. Amazing! Especially love the "what have we done?" bit.
