I used the Contact Us link in the USStore site and asked if the SMASH Blu-ray/CD box sets in stock contain the updated disc with the corrected Being boring video. I received the following reply within 24 hours:

I have written to this url
https://umusicstoresupport.zendesk.com/ ... quests/new
and I still have no response. I have two copies of Smash. One that arrived in July with the pre-booking and another that arrived in September and I don't know if both are affected by this error. Can someone explain to me exactly what is happening where you have written? I think this is a problem with the version of the Being Boring video?

Yes, the error they want to correct is just about the "Being Boring" censored video version included, instead of the "un-censored" version. I guess all the retail versions of the box around to date include the "failed" version.

Okay. Thank you.
That's what I assumed. But where have you written to communicate it? The website is no longer available and I have written to several addresses, including Warner's on their returns form, and they do not respond.
Have you had a response? Any email to write to?
Thank you.

I don’t think any of us know what is happening with the replacement disc. The only method of getting one so far was the link in the website and that had to be used within a short timescale which has now expired. None of us received an acknowledgment to the request.

I find it incredible how poorly the store works. It is not only because of the Blue-ray case but because of the amount of time waiting for the refund of the customs payment. It's months of waiting.
Also they don't respond. You don't get any response. Only the automated form email.
I think that on very few occasions it is worth buying on their website.

I only ever buy things from the store that I can’t get elsewhere such as Annually.

I received a swift reply from The Boys' YouTube store, Merchbar:
Our supply partner has advised that the information about the corrected Being Boring video is not specified in the product. However, it appears that the product was released on June 16, 2023, while the update about the corrected video was made on July 26, 2023. Our supply partner had the inventory even before the update was made by the artist.

I don't understand anything.
I have written to several email addresses and no response.
I can't get an answer that clarifies this issue.

Greetings,
You'll learn nothing from the merchant shop fronts.
The process was very in-house, disconnected from the distributors, so I expect you'll probably only be able get an answer from their management.
My guess is that the replacements will be X2 funded, and probably written off as a tax-loss.
Retro.

I have sent emails to almost all the addresses they have provided me and I still have no responses.
I don't know what to do. What have you done?

There is nothing to do surely. This to me is a gesture on behalf of the PSB - they are not obliged to send any replacement I would have thought.

Been grateful they've even offered to send it at all.
