At least it says "A BBC spokesperson said: 'The Imagine strand will continue as Imagine Specials. There is a film on the Pet Shop Boys coming up later this year and another film currently in production and we look forward to discussing ideas for future Imagine Specials.' "

I have actually never heard of this programme which has been on for 21 years apparently. So I'll watch one incoming episode and then never again! Oh ok I will watch the Russell T Davies one too being a Dr Who fan.

BBC (NBC did the same thing with Timeless) is trying to make a new sci-fiction called Ministry of Time like it was original but it's not. It's an Spanish series from RTVE (Spanish public TV) called El Ministerio del Tiempo. Pay the rights like Rádio e Televisão de Portugal did, pirates.

I think the Russell T Davies one was already shown a few weeks ago. Think I caught the beginning of it when it was on.

And it doesn't sound like the show is being impacted in that big a way anyway, from a 5-7 episode season to 4 episodes throughout the year.

Neil had picked up a ticket for a previous concert from the Box Office at the Royal Albert Hall (where I work) and was told by my manager that one of his biggest fans was a colleague. He said very sweetly ''Oh say hello to him from me''. This message was passed onto me via WhatsApp.

So when I met Neil at the Rufus Wainwright evening (in between the two concerts) I said (thinking he remembered I worked at the Hall) ''Thank you for passing on a message the other day via my manager''. He looked completely blank for a while and I said it again. Then I thought to say ''I work here'' and he said ''Oh I didn't realise'' before heading off! I really should have just said ''Hi Neil good to see you'' or something like that....
Anyway I was with one of my friends who had never met him before and she was REALLY chuffed afterwards even though she'd stayed quiet!
Next time I'll just give him a positive ''hello'' and keep it brief...

Love these anecdotes of meetings with Neil & Chris. The two meet and greets we had were very memorable for several reasons. Still waiting for them to take my wife up on that offer to come and have tea with us!

I thought this show/film/documentary was going to be aired in Spring 2024 as part of the lead up promotion to the album being released on 26 April, 2024. So it's later this year?
