Greetings,

The boys are digging their heels in over Ukraine, sharing the Ukrainian flag on their socials, presumably in response to this... (worth watching in full to avoid echo chamber or MSM spin - you can safely skip to the 3 minute mark without missing anything)

Just don't do what I did and read the comments underneath. The amount of people that could watch that sickening and cowardly display of public bullying and think "Yup, the orange buffoon and his little Richard Hammond sidekick were in the right and they really showed Zelenskyy for what he is" is pretty depressing.

Depressing that they happily ignored a genocide carried out with the support and endorsement of our govt and also have said nothing while Trump's neonazi project has bedded in.

If Ukrainians have the right to self-determination, so do Palestinians.

The link they posted to Timothy Snyder is pretty on point

There's little can be argued against this imho.

They always had a valid and reasonable side project privately pushing for gay rights in the past, wherever they could pick up a storyline and help wake up the society. Not sure Selensky vs. Putin vs. Trump is able to help their cause.

They are allowed to have more than one ''cause''.

How would you describe this other cause?

His name is spelt “Zelenskyy”. I don’t know why you keep misspelling it.

I think it's just fun, since Trump's intrested in his rural minerals. On french tv they spell it Poutine to not insult anyone. But Zelenskyy it is, my sincere apololgies.

Ha ha, Trump and Vance do have Clarkson-Hammond vibes. He also seems to have the brain damage without the high-speed crash.

Poutine is a delicious dish of chips, gravy and cheese curds here in Canada.

Poutine is utterly delicious.

Putin has been dismantling gay rights… not just in Russia but in many other countries where Russia spreads hate and disinformation. Hungary jumps to mind. I fear what’s coming to the USA.

And equally allowed to not embrace 'all' causes and not being accused of 'ignoring' them. As has been discussed on other threads, it's OK to have a strong intetest in some subjects and not all. Lots of bands didn't have a strong public stance on the Troubles in Northern Ireland when they were raging, and that's fine. Some did, and some made awful records about it too.
Lots of acts have spoken out about Palestine but aren't being criticised for not mentioning the persecution of Uyghurs.
