No economists?

I'll have to go next time.

But seriously, I personally find this more interesting than, say, Disco 5. Kudos to you.

Drico.

Here are some pictures from the walk, and below is the text from my LinkedIn post, celebrating the walk as a success.

☀ After the event
looks like someone’s smiling
happy to be here
Blue skies, heaven-sent

⏪ Yesterday, I spent a wonderful time in #London, alongside faces both familiar and new. A friendly and interesting group of walkers, urbanists, historians, geographers and Pet Shop Boys fans. We traced a route through the city’s streets, guided by song lyrics.

🙂 Thank you to Connie Dales and Christine Smallwood of The Academy of Urbanism (AoU) for making it happen and to Richard Crappsley, Martin Miller, Mark Lucas, Andreas Markides, Shane Mitchell, Xiao Wei Ma and all those who were part of our group in the afternoon, into the evening and were such great company.

❤️ And of course, love and thanks to Neil and Chris.

Thank you for posting this. As someone who has lived on the fringes of London for most of my life, I know all these places and it's interesting to read about them from a PSB perspective. Like whenever I walk along Albert Embankment, I automatically think of the West End girls video.

Here's a final photo, taken outside the dive bar in a West End town. That’s me on the left, pictured with the three PSB t-shirt wearers on our walk. Great memories! 😊

What a perfect quote! Thanks very much for sharing this. Just finished browsing your most excellent brochure. I would have loved to do this but I'm 5,500 miles away. :(
