Paninaro 95 is my favourite song of PSB. The lyrics are imo very personal to Chris & are about Pete. It has indeed been mentioned. There has been a lot of evidence put forth in support of the hypothesis that Paninaro '95 is about Chris and Pete (and therefore probably Paninaro '86 as well). If you want to suggest a different hypothesis you will need to provide the evidence for it. We don’t know for sure. Chris never talked about it. This is just fan speculation. Maybe Pete wasn’t her boyfriend at all, but someone else she broke up with at the time. Who knows.
It's obviously about Pete. The timeline doesn't support anything else.
