Pet Shop Boys Community

I'm afraid that my two favourite bands, The Smiths and Pet Shop Boys are two good things that should never meet. There was a small rumour that PSB would produce Morrissey's last album, but that wouldn't be good. One song could be interesting though.

Chris Lowe would never have put up with Morrissey's ego - they would have split after one album tops.

As for Chris Lowe, Johnny Marr and Neil Tennant - well we've already seen that. I think could have been even better without Bernard Sumner.

Johnny Marr and Neil Tennant would have been a major hit duo as well. No doubt about it.

Yeah right. Hasn't it been said by the main protagonists themselves, that it was Chris' idea to include guitars et al. (aka the 'Release sound') on said album, so how on earth could Release have been any better. If anything, it would have 'improved'... or not seen the light of day.
