Neil is interviewed as part of a film about the composer Ralph Vaughan Williams to be shown at midday on Five on New Year's Day. The acclaimed film is attracting quite a bit of press in the UK as the project was apparently rejected by the BBC, only to be picked up by Five.

"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Good question, I have emailed sky to ask them when they plan to show it. I will post their reply on here as soon as I get it.

Yeppee, PSB on Finnish TV!!! :D

29.12.2007
Extra LIVE: Pet Shop Boys (YLE Extra, klo 17.05)

Tanssipoplegendat visuaalisesti huikeassa ja hittiä hitin perään tarjoilevassa, Rio de Janeirossa joulukuussa 1995 taltioidussa konsertissa.

So it's the DiscoVery show I presume. What a lovely surprise. Not sure if I can watch it though as I'm attending the wedding of a friend, but still!!

The Globen performance on Dec 30th seems to be on Swedish TV4.

A pity I can't see that channel anymore now. :?

Hmmm, is it digital or cable channel? Have someone pay to see it? Whole show or just one-two songs?

I know Neil said on the OS last year that he recorded some an interview for this show. Not sure if he's on tonight but they are in the 3rd programme1

It says in the Sunday Times TV mag that NT is interviewed and is one of the more articulate contributors. Once broadcast, you can watch it again up to seven days later using the BBC's iplayer - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/. Just search 'pop britannia'. Handy for people unable to get regular BBC TV me thinks.
Muchos gracias senor

Judging by the programme on there last week in which Paul Morley interviewed the Sugababes, it wouldn't be hard.
