It actually makes Clause 28 sound more sensible.

So it should read (we assume!)
"...Mrs Thatcher's government's proposal to ban schools from teaching that being gay is a normal alternative to heterosexuality".

Fun thread! As an academic dealing with English texts from non-native spekers of English on a daily basis (neither am I btw), the apostrophe needs continuous explanation (especially since in Dutch the apostrophe IS used for plural, especially for abbreviations)

Went through the whole thread, surprised nobody mentioned this one:

"Integral" in the inner sleeve listing of the re-issued vinyl. That's what you have proof readers for.

Blimey!

I'm glad you're enjoying the thread. I felt a bit cheeky starting it, but it 's amazing how many of these errors pop up.

I would argue that ''les Petites Bon-Bons'' as the Boys have styled them in the official website lyrics section and possibly other places too should have a capital ''L'' for ''Les''.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Petites_Bon-Bons

Neil or someone from the team changed ''Brian'' to ''Bryan'' on the official website (''Requiem in denim and leopardskin'' lyrics.) as this refers to Bryan Ferry. It's incorrect at least in one place (the Elysium 2017 re-issue booklet).

Isn't it also wrong that God Willing is on side one? I thought they'd moved it onto side two for the reissue, though personally I like it being at the end of the first side on the 2006 version, like a little coda.

I will check, as it is now on my to play vinyl stack, because I took it from my collection for this photo.

Numb is indeed the last track on side A and God Willing the first one on the B side! Never noticed that.

Thanks for checking! Think it means the original UK pressing is the only version where Luna Park has a totally cold opening.
