2 Hearts - 8/10 : definately a grower with each listen

Like A Drug - 10/10 : absolute electro perfection - I adore this track !!

In My Arms - 10/10 : great track, very Pink's "Feel Good Time" sounding and a real great pop track

Speakerphone - 7/10 : its ok...nothing special

Sensitized - 10/10 : pure sex and sass - I adore this sexual Cowboy Style part 2 !!

Heart Beat Rock - 1/10 : pass....too Robbie/Gwen.

The One - 10/10 : gorgeous Cher like track - hopefully will be a single at some stage

No More Rain - 10/10 : beautiful track, reminds me off something of Madonna's Ray Of Light. Would be a cool single.

All I See - 9/10 : wow - i would have sworn this was Janet !! The best USA sounding track on the album

Stars - 7/10 : quite a pleasant track...more of an album track though than single worthy

Wow - 10/10 : soooo glad this is the 2nd single to be released - typical Kylie - loves it.

Nu-Di-Ty - 1/10 : pass again...nothing to hear here...

Cosmic - 10/10 : beautiful end track - could picture this lush track closing the tour

Boring, tuneless, 13-in-a-dozen. Nothing special.

Great tune. Should certainly be a single.

Decent track with lots of vocal processing. It's barely Kylie who you're listening to here. I can't help thinking the vocoderish parts are pretty inspired by some tracks on Madonna's latest album. Similar techiques were also used in "Glamour Girl" by Chicks On Speed.

Sensitized - 6/10
A track that leans on its production, rather than a tune. It's not bad, but it's pretty passable.

Heart Beat Rock - 4/10
Desperate attempt to sound American. Sounds more like a Kelis track than a Kylie track. Yuk. I rate it "4" rather than a 1, because the production sounds nice.

The One - 7/10
Nice track. It sounds a bit like some OMD songs, such as Dream Of Me.

No More Rain - 7/10
Nice track as well. It has an interesting chord progression before the chorus, which is, unfortunately, a bit dull.

All I See - 2/10
Yet another desperate attempt to sound American. I guess her record company forces her to record this kind of crap, in order to appeal to the US audience as well. There's a huge gap between MY taste and the music the average American liks. This track is a great proof.

Stars - 8/10
One of the better tracks on the album. Decent disco track with some hit potential.

Wow - 5/10
Sounds like a typical single to me, which doesn't mean I like it. It simply sounds stolen. Dunno what this is based upon, but the background music follows a very old, common chord structure.

Nu-Di-Ty - 4/10
My comment for this song is identical to Heart Beat Rock.

Cosmic - 8/10
Good song, nice production. Would be an interesting choice for single.

Total: 78:13 = 6.

Verdict: a very mixed bag, with a couple of good songs and some cringeworthy ones. I wish artists would stop trying to sound American. Be yourself, do what you're good at.

I must agree with this assessment. I find X to be rather disappointing. It's not terrible, but it's never thrilling. Plus she must be working with Britney's producer on a few tracks (Nu-di-ty is one) because they could literally have come straight off of Blackout. Not what I want to hear from Kylie.

Since no Kylie track is ever going to be released in the US - - how have they done on the charts in UK and Australia?

Thanks jagdmirage for the X-Japanese photos...Its easily one of the best album packagings i have seen, lots of work gone into it, which is fabulous !

As for charts..2 Hearts peaked #4 in UK and #1 in Oz and quickly fell, which obviously means the general public didnt exactly lap it up, even though the reviews were consistently good !

X released monday in Europe, so we'll know its fate on sunday, the reviewers havent been too generous with their ratings, so I hope this doesnt translate into a public rejection, because it is a very good pop album !
