I started reading a book called 'POPism' by Andy Warhol since the
above one's a picture book, more or less.

when I was young my mom had a book that was a day by day diary of andy warhol.he pretty much wote what went on every single day of his life.

I was really just a kid and had no idea at the time who half the people he wrote about were,or studio 58, but the book was so good and interesting I blew thru it in a week.

Since POPism by Warhol I read 2 books about the submarine bunker
'Valentin' which is nearby here and which I visited recently.
I read a book by Vera Stein who tells about her experiences when
she was in a psychiatric hospital.
Now I'm reading a book calles 'Mein Bruder' (My Brother) written by
2 authors who are brothers. Very amusing for a change. One author
has written the book for the film 'Same Same but different'.

Glenn, one of my favorite bits of the Warhol Diaries was where he's at a Thanksgiving party at Yoko Ono's house in late '83. David Bowie and Madonna are also there, lots of people. Anyway he wanders down to Sean's room where a bunch of people are, and some "kid" is busy setting up the new but unreleased Apple Macintosh. The "kid" leaps up to greet Warhol and shake his hand. "Hi! I'm Steve Jobs. " (Who was 30). It's just interesting, people complain about Apple product placement today, but very early on Jobs was doing real-life product placement, giving away free computers to influential taste-makers, and kids like Sean Lennon. No doubt that Bowie, Madonna, Warhol all got free Macs too.

I finished Roger Willemsen - 'Die Enden der Welt' today and got me
this one from the library.

If you want a fairly simple but solid accounting of the true Jesus, and how Christianity begun, try The Birth Of Christianity by Joel Carmichael. He focuses on the World's End movement that Jesus was a part of and that is consistently ignored by theology. Though sources from the era are scanty, when you take into account that "The Kingdom is Coming" means it was coming, right then, and you look at the transmogrification of Jesus the Jew into the post Temple era after AD 70 of Jesus the son of God, you can start to make some interesting sense of it all.
