I get the impression that Erasure are drifting part. Interviews suggestiong they don't keep in touch all that much and both getting involved in a lot more personal projects. It will be a pity if thats the case. The next album really needs to be a belter. I doubt the songwriting will change but a proper producer can work wonders.
It's actually quite the opposite. Vince and Andy have rarely spent time together unless it's involved with music. During his latest dealings with Stephen Hague (on his second solo album), Andy has stated that things weren't so smooth and it made him really miss and appreciate Vince even more than he regularly does (which is a lot). The two genuinely love each other. Vince has also stated even up to last year that he sees Erasure going on into their 70's.
I do agree with you about a producer to change things up, though. I'd love to see Will Gregory at the helm this time around. I'm also excited about comments Vince is making about his desire to strip things down again to a more minimalist direction.

Erasure's Andy Bell On Hastings Life & Selling Bread To The Cheeky Girls:
http://thequietus.com/articles/01110-er ... eeky-girls
I`ve never understood how come the Cheeky Girls are regarded as celebrities in the UK - nobody gives a s**t on them in their native country. Their "songs" were almost never aired here. Actually, they tried to make some promotion to their "music" in Romania, but it proved to be much too difficult task, as they can hardly speak a correct Romanian...
"Sorry, we almost forgot the language!"

Personally, I think that the only language that they can speak is Hungarian (ethnicity of their mother), as their Romanian father "left the picture" a long time ago and they were raised mainly within the Hungarian community of their native town Cluj-Napoca.
(Don`t understand from this that I hate Hungarians - not at all. I only dislike the Cheeky Girls).

You know, Dave, I could seriously one-up you big time, but I refuse to go down to your level once again.
It's just sad how much of your own time you spend on Erasure, either in multiple (banned) incarnations on their own forum, or on other forums/comment sections/etc. when you're so blasé about them. Instead of making such wonderful art montages, shouldn't you be making a Valentine's Day card for your significant other?
(You *do* have a significant other, don't you?).

As if you still think the banned members are me

I'd tell you if they were because i do find them hilarious but sorry, i cannot take the credit for them. Asking Greg and Jackie might confirm that for you. As for the brilliant business card of Bell, i cannot take the credit for that either, although it is very funny.
Chill out ffs. It's a light hearted piss take. You take things too seriously. Which is probably why numerous posts of yours on the PSB topic, over on the Erasure forum have been deleted, which contained more slaggings off of a band you ''have been a massive fan for, for 20 years''

. I've already posted on here, numerous attacks you have made about PSB and you still query why people spend time posting about Erasure
If you cannot take it, don't dish it out.

The banned members *are* you. You are posting from anonymous proxy servers. Nice try, though. You were banned as Undertaker (guaranteed) but you still read that forum daily as you make comments on it when you must be a member to even read and make comments. It's actually rather sad of you. You never fail to embarrass yourself, over and over. I don't even think you understand what I just said and how you've been incriminated.
The attacks I've made on anything PSB-related tend to be me taking the piss and trying to get under your skin - obviously it works, over and over. I've loved the band since they released "West End Girls" when I was a teenager. I own every album, and most singles (in vinyl, CD, and a couple of cassettes). Although I feel Nightlife was the end of a great run for them, I still hold some hope, since PopArt's singles made them relevant with me again. Plus, Yes is feeling as though it may be rather good. Unlike you, I wouldn't spend countless hours making up different accounts on various forums if I didn't have any affinity for a band whatsoever. I guess you have a lot of personal time to kill.
I do love how you keep responding to my friends' posts on other forums in such a frantic way - you give all of us much entertainment taking our bait, in addition to your limited language skills. Not to mention numerous PM's I get on *this* forum that are rather disparaging of you. Keep it up.

Right, lads - I don't want this thread turning into a trolling opportunity for various malcontents (on all sides) as it has in the past. Whatever the history between Undertaker and Pulse on Erasure fora (and I'm not interested in it), I don't want it infecting discussion here. Please deal with any alleged trolling on another forum there - not here.
A bit of common sense on both sides would be appreciated, lads. Both of you are excellent contributors, so please let's not see this thread degenerate into an extension of arguments elsewhere.
Thanks,
Drico.

Well done, another rant and another personal attack. Sorry buddy, but you are wrong on all accounts and it's obviously irritiating you that you haven't got a clue who is behind those posts. I do know who the user is though and wouldn't take the credit for his posts anyway. I'll also admit that i don't have a scooby what you are on about with proxy servers anyhow. So you have embarressed yourself again. Well done. Keep it up. I do, sorry, *
do* post regularly under the same username on the Erasure forum and have done for a long time but unlike you do on here, i don't tend to go off on numerous rants like an old women.
I also don't care if you do get PM's on *this* forum about me. You actually think i'm bothered lol. Although to be fair, it wouldn't be difficult to work out who they were off
I'd also appreciate if you stop coming on here making up bullsh*t because you have run out of idea's and also, cut out the personal attacks. A sign that someone needs to constantly take a dig at someone's ''limited language skills'' shows you have long since run out of idea's. I'll now respect Drico's request and leave it at that. You can do as you please.

My experience of the Erasure forum is that it is actually often the Latin members who cause the trouble. Dave Vespillo and Ricardo Villa are two of the most recent miscreants that come to mind. I assume its something to do with the Latin temperament.

Thanks! It's about time.
I'd venture to say that someone who reads/posts on an Erasure board regularly but comes here to cut them down is the person who's run out of ideas.
Ahhh yes, Patrick Bateman - that darned Latino temperament. Perhaps you could pull some strings? Seeing as you have a much more civilised disposition *and* are on that forum as well, I thought you may be able to quell, errr, douse, some of the Latino fire.

Piss taking aside, how did the single and album do in the charts? There was one or two decent remixes on pop remixed.

No clue. I can't imagine it doing anything chartwise. I don't even know if it's eligible as an album or a single, to be honest. Probably #197?
