Yes!! Golden at #1 in UK and Oz
I really don't get this whole.. Worst album ever that folks are throwing, when it's actually pop with a hint of country lite.. Something like what PSB did with Drunk.
Finally after aimless duds like Kiss me once etc, she has taken a chance with this detour and totally invested in it. It really shows in the lyrics, production and esp her vocals.
I got bored of Aphrodite, KMO after a few listens, this I can listen to without skipping.
My faves are Shelby'68, Golden, One last kiss, love, low blow, radio on

I personally didn't care to buy it, but it's good she's having a sort good run with her summer festivals , including Glastonbury!!

I bought this on Google using credit I had amassed. This will be my dirty little secret (only Kylie music I have) so we will need to keep this under wraps.

I really wanted the picture disc version of this but after misinforming stores, the label decided to honor only official store sales so I got screwed. I still love her though (but I was pissed off about this).

Better the devil you know turned 30 yesterday so she uploaded a remastered HD version of the music video and a "Behind the scenes" on YouTube today.
Wonder how many variants of formats this release will have to get it to number one? The last (greatest hits) album has something like three different coloured cassette options alone. Think Golden had four cassette options. Along with cd, deluxe cd, album, deluxe album, deluxe coloured album, transparent vinyl, wax cylinder, smoke signal, semaphore flags and downloads

I love Kylie, but this Say Something is not that "something" I expected from her. It is simply an album track nothing more. The same goes for Lady Gaga with her Rain On Me. Both songs make you feel there will be a huge, astounding moment towards the end with huge sonic landscapes etc. but the pay-off is so simple and the song abruptly ends and you feel cheated. Perhaps this is due to the changing music industry basics. Singles are not very creative anymore and are merely functional only to herald the upcoming album and artists do not elaborate on them that much.

I'm with you for Say Something. I admit that I thought the same about Rain On Me and even about Don't Start Know for the first few listenings, but I adore them now!
(2 years now actually...)
