Can't see Pop 2 in the top 100, either. Thought this would have at least gone top 40, considering it's a brand new release. The only people that have this collection, are the 19,000 people that have bought Pop40 over the past 3 months.
I got the impression that pop40 sold poorly due to the fact most people had the first hits collection. Obvioulsly they aren't interested in the 2nd lot of hits. A bit of a shame really.

I didn't even know they were releasing pop 2! Checked the official site and they say that it has been issued along with a re-issue of the first pop album.
Don't really see the point but for some reason mute love their best of albums!
There are some pictures of Andy Bell with Lady Ga Ga on the erasure site too, I guess that means most psb fans will be turning on her now. Watch this space!

Nothing really wrong with that approach but people do get bored pretty quickly and like you said, totally pointless. I just wish they would get rid of that f*ckin horrible artwork with 'pop all over it and those dilly birds on the back

I thought they were quite pleasant photo's. Bell seems a lot more relaxed these days. Although i disagree with your last statement. None of us turned our back on Scones, Bread etc

It might not end up in Top-50

A bit of a shocker. Expected it to chart in the midweek top 20. It once again goes to show how well Did you see me coming?? did to chart at 21.

Oh, surely not. It was an absolute catastrophe; they should pack it all in straight away blah blah blah.....

Ive always found most of Depeche Mode's records really enjoyable but really struggling to get into this new album. The single out this week is one of the worst records i've heard in a long time. It's very poor but apart from the excellent 'Wrong' it's hard to find another decent single.

DM are not even in the top 300 i-tunes chart. Was it released digitally?

It only sold 4,025 copies. That's way off for them. I guess their fans are willing to buy a cd single but don't want to download. So how did DM amass such an impressive track record over the years? Was it just due to fans keeping their cd collections intact? I would think if the fans cared about the remixes/bsides on the cds then they'd now be downloading the digital bundles if they couldn't find the cds, and no sales would be lost. It's true that Peace is a dud but it's not the first dud single they've released and they never done this badly before. Even the Gahan solo stuff did better than this.
If the Mode are doing this badly then Erasure will definitely never make the top 40 again.
Love Etc and Coming charting where they did is amazing. I bet if we were still in the "old era" of the charts that Love Etc would have been a top 5 single.
