Just had a giddy thought... "obscure with strings"... playing bits of this and all sorts of other deep cuts that they'd like to perform with live strings. I need a sit down.

I do work there but I've heard nothing!

Even if I had I'd have to deny everything - but I genuinely haven't....
Well that's what you would say...

From the OS:

To mark the forthcoming broadcast of A man from the future, Pet Shop Boys are pleased to announce a CD/blu-ray/vinyl release of "Four songs in A minor", their live collaboration with Chrissie Hynde at the BBC Proms in July 2014.

Fans have waited for an official release of this work for twelve years and with the revival of our Alan Turing piece "A man from the future" it feels like an appropriate time to finally release this much-loved work.

Featuring Neil and Chrissie with the BBC Concert Orchestra and with orchestrations by Angelo Badalamenti, this release will appear under the Tennant/Lowe moniker in the hope that it is not associated with their usual stuff (the hardcore fans will buy any old rubbish)

Full details including tracklisting and multiple coloured vinyls to be announced on 53th Octember 20266

Are they really releasing an EP of old songs where they don't sing, marketing it like it was a new album, instead of announcing the soundtrack release?

I skipped Disco 5 and I'll skip this too.
