I came to buy tickets and left with book instead

You could end up with a situation where there are more people registered for "priority access" than actual available tickets..

The only way around this is to only allow resale through the ballrooms website at face value - basically announce that tickets resold anywhere else will not be accepted at the door. Not sure they can do that though. It’s absolutely spectacular that this is happening at all. I hope they film it (if only for YouTube). Anyone that gets tickets, please film every moment - no going for a wee or ought.

As an aside I skipped the limited volume because it looked like you could only get presale buying the standard from the website. Ah, well…

Yup.

1500 capacity. £100 a ticket. Take of 100 for comps etc that's 1400 a night, over five nights = £700,000.
750 copies of volume at £95 each = £71,250

Not a bad wednesday morning for PSB

They only get a petcentage of that. Don’t think they need the money anyway.

Yes, very likely. The pre-sale will sell out. Maybe some tickets held back for the general sale.

Yes, you will get priority access, just double check that you registered.

I never have any luck getting tickets when numbers are limited so I am hoping its a big success and they roll this out across other venues later in the year.
