What’s the difference between no narration and instrumental?
I like to think of it as home...

No narration will remove Juliet Stevenson. The instrumental will remove Neil, Juliet Stevenson and the choir.canveyboy wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:25 am What’s the difference between no narration and instrumental?
I had similar thoughts - a google search suggests maybe yes but I've never bought a bluray audio before. I'd just be playing through my TV so not sure about it as a format.canveyboy wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:28 am Ok, is it possible to rip audio from the Blu Ray if I buy that?
We've probably all been searching for that information! BluRay it is for this one... I think.Ok, is it possible to rip audio from the Blu Ray if I buy that?
There is a digital version on iTunes but it doesn’t have the ‘No Narration’ version so I think I made the right decision to get the Blu Ray - I just hope I can access the audio from it! I don’t have a Blu Ray player - only a Blu Ray drive!before wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:43 amI had similar thoughts - a google search suggests maybe yes but I've never bought a bluray audio before. I hope there might just be digital downloads available to purchase.
Also a notepad, oddly enough.tottenhammattspurs wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:17 am So. 1cd. 2cd. 1lp. 2lp. Blu-ray. T-shirt.
The second cd/lp is the instrumental versions and exclusive on the blu ray is a “no narration” version.
T shirt actually looks interesting.
Track listing for digital is same as 2x CD. Pre order is up on iTunesDopeFiend wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 11:19 am Can't say I'm particularly thrilled for this release, but it's good to see the announcement.
By the way, a digital release has been confirmed. (Mentioned in Classic Pop Magazine's website)
Who knows what the tracklisting of the digital release. I'm expecting the album in standard and instrumental.
I'm glad they're doing the Blu-Ray release in Dolby Atmos, that's cool.
SuperDeluxeEdition are claiming to have an exclusive slipcase with the Blu-Ray, but the fineprint reveals it's the same "exclusive" slipcase as the official website. So it isn't exclusive, funny enough. (SDE & D2C exclusive slipcase)
I think the version without narration could be the most replayable. It still has singing vocals.
Curious if it releases on streaming services.
Anyway I'll give it a listen when it releases. Might be another 'listen to it once and file it away'.Also a notepad, oddly enough.tottenhammattspurs wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:17 am So. 1cd. 2cd. 1lp. 2lp. Blu-ray. T-shirt.

I still love these random bits of tat they bring out! The foldout fans, wrapping paper, now stationery.
Same order for me.canveyboy wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 10:42 am Well I had to make a decision - I went for the Blu Ray audio - hoping I can rip the audio from that!! Also got the ltd green and orange vinyl! Woohoo!!
Yes and I speak on behalf of all fans....canveyboy wrote: Fri 04 Sep 2026, 11:24 am So..are we agreed then that this is a Tennant/Lowe (Hodges) album rather than a PSB album? Tennant/Lowe/Hodges gets the priority credit so I think it is! It’s kind of formatted like Battleship Potemkin with the artist name first (Tennant/Lowe) then the sub-text showing who the performers are..in this case PSB, Juliet Stevenson and Manchester Camerata, then the orchestrator Sven Helbig.
