Really disappointed with Russia. They actually played far better in the group game and it looks like the pressure got to them.

That said, I thought they were marginally the better side until Villa got injured, which bizarrely worked in Spain's favour as they switched to a five-man midfield and that denied Russia space to play the slick, probing football they managed against Holland.

Nevertheless, Sunday's final should be an intriguing game. You'd have to fancy Spain on that performance but I get the impression they are a confidence team as they struggled for long periods against Sweden and Italy when up against disciplined defences and the Germans, assuming Frings is fit, will be tough to break down. The first goal will be vital.

Not sure yet who I'll be supporting. Usually it would be Spain but I feel slightly uneasy backing a team coached by Jean-Marie Le Pen.

One thing is sure and that is that there is no Spanish person less intelligent than you, but it is not difficult. You lack any kind of dignatey and cannot take defeat like a man, because you are not one. You have no idea what sport is, do you?

As for the Olympic football, Russia might well win it but i can tell you now that most football fans, wherever they come from, don't care a toss about Olympic football. It should never be included anyway.

I thought your country was the best in the world? or is that just at ice hockey?

I mean not Olympic football.

As I said before I think Ice Hockey Championship 2008 in Canada was the most important for us.
When we won Gold I couldn’t sleep, it was historical moment.
We won Gold and that was the best thing for last 15 years for me.
Canadian ice was broken! We are RED MACHINE!

All good teams left Euro: Czech, Croatia (my fav), France, Turkey. It's not interesting to watch how Spain will be playing against Germany.

I compare our game against Spain and Minimal single chart position.
I remember how I have thought that Pet Shop Boys wrote really strong song, 100% hit single that had to be the hit, I’ve been waiting for the first week position of MINIMAL, but… It was only 19, not in Top 10. I was sure that MINIMAL will be no 1, because it’s the best, but…
Then I though, well PSB can make absolutely hit, but 18 years old rapper will be no 1.

The same thing is about Russia, we won Greece, Sweden, Holland… well not Spain.
It’s the end.

I still think that MINIMAL is one of the best PSB songs for last 15 years, the same thing is about Russian team who was in semi final first time for 20 years and shown interesting football.

Good to see they have good internet access at psychiatric hospitals in Russia. Never saw the connection between Minimal chart position and Euro 2008 but it all makes sense now.
