First of all, your contribution here is becoming more obsessive towards myself and your posts are full of paranoia. I don't know if this is because previously you have withered when confronted with facts and are desperatly trying to claim back some credibility but these rants are making things look a whole lot worse for yourself.

Going back to the topic, i have nothing but respect for Vince Clarke and my post had nothing whatsoever to do with him. The Saturdays (who i like) were predicted to be the next big thing. Their charity record was a cover of a well known song which received tons of promotion and the t.v and radio played it to death. It should have been a sure fire number 1 for several weeks but wasn't. Their next single hasn't even hit the top 20 and they haven't even been around for 1 year. My point about them already falling out of favour, is a valid one. They still might be massive, but the honeymoon period looks like it's already over after just 11 months. Which is exactly the point i made.

Why bring some poor charity single from PSB (well it was Absolutely Fabulous, to be precise) into it? It just goes to prove you are constantly looking for a war of words. It wont happen, Pulse. You need to let it go. You might well post the odd smilie but its pretty obvious there is a lot of anger and resentment in your posts and it's made worse and more obvious with every input.

Chill out and stop looking for confrontation.

In fairness, Work is the fifth single from their album so it was never going to be a huge hit, particularly in a climate where very few post-album-released singles make the top 20.

Fifth single? Then making top 30 is very good, even Slags Aloud would be happy with that.

Just Can't Get Enough was on the re-issue of Chasing Lights.

I'm sure that their next album will be a success. They're bound to come back with a killer single to promote it, and they're still imperial in terms of sexiness, unlike the Wags, who look more like a trashy drag tribute act to Judith Chalmers with every passing day.

That's a fair comment but i'd say they released a 5th (or 4th) single because it was expected to sell. Making hay while the sun shines but it hasn't really worked. I reckon they will rush out a 2nd album now.

Firstly, I have never felt like I have withered from being confronted with "facts" - especially from you. That is risible to the nth degree. I would think that paranoia is mentioning me or Erasure *unprovoked* in such a huge percentage of your posts that have nothing really to do with me or Erasure. I think that is more a perfect example of paranoia than me simply responding to unprovoked negative or cleverly-hidden comments. Have you looked at your posts in a search string? Have you not noticed your myriad of posts that are laced with anger/resentment/bitterness/inadequacy/paranoia and masked with an "odd smilie"? This behaviour of yours isn't happening only on this site, but others. Responding to negative comments doesn't make me an angry or resentful person. If I only had a dime for every time I am mentioned on this forum by two people in particular...

Secondly, I really do like "Absolutely Fabulous." I don't think you understood my comment about it. Re-read, please.

And finally, I would actually love to bury the hatchet with you. I don't even understand what the repeated tit-for-tat is based on anymore.

To be fair, I don't see how Dave is having a dig at Vince Clarke or Erasure here. The Comic Relief single should be a sure-fire #1. To miss the number 1 spot could be a sign of The S(h)aturdays' decline - nothing else. It certainly has nothing to do with Vince Clarke, Erasure, or the price of bread.

Your obsession with my posts is in this very thread. The outburst about The Saturdays was desperate. Where you got the Vince negativity from, is anyone's guess. Then quit the constant slagging of my grammar and the paranoid outbursts. If you aren't happy with what i've posted and disagree, debate the point in a positive reply. Not constantly criticise my intelligence and throw accusations that have no foundation. Kris and Fugitive have shown above how it's done. It's not that difficult. If you can't contribute in a proper manner, you are best of saying nothing at all because i'm finding it tiresome, so everyone else must be totally fed up.

I just skimmed through your last post, because I found you "play dumb" way too often, pretending you're not sarcastic when you actually are, or alluding to things through roundabout ways... it must be obvious.
