A good one with just one problem: Elton. His voice does not suite anywhere near the PSB spectrum. I like this track’s production, it really suits its melody.

On a hypothetical Pets CD titled
"The Songs I Never Listen To,"
this one would undoubtedly be on the tracklist.

Also one on the pile of Elton collaborations. Which is the only thing he's done the last 30 years.

A dark, electro-acoustic, and bittersweet track. It sounds like a demo, doesn't it? I've always felt that the song isn't finished and needs some polishing. It could be better...

I like the music and I used to think I liked the lyrics as well but there's something missing from the lyrics to make it a neilish song. Or could it be that the lyrics don't fit the music.

A strange track but in a good way; not unpleasant but yes unifnished/unpolished. B-side status that could have been an album track if it had a proper development.

A pleasant track. The first track they "released" with the new batch of the Further Listening albums and it got me excited.

The interesting thing is that none of us knew a thing about this one.

Bland and forgettable. I don't think any of the FL tracks were lost gems to be honest.

I quite like Reunion, it's one of my favourites from the further listening exclusives. This was also one of the last "new" songs I discovered when I started diving deeper into their back catalouge. I like the sentiment of the lyrics, even though I would agree that they seem a bit unusual for Neil, and maybe a bit too specific with all the names in it.

I also like that the song basically has two choruses - they might not be particularly strong, but still I always appreciate the effort (especially since this happens to be one of the very few issues I have with Pet Shop Boys music - their choruses often feel a bit lazy unfortunately).

Overall, while I would not want this to be on any album even in a more polished form, I do think it's quite good, actually. Could have been a strong b-side.

With this being specifically denoted as the "electro mix", I wonder what other mix(es) might exist, and whether we'll ever hear them?
