Not a bad 2nd week for the album though. Down 7 places to number 12. Sales 9,999.

That's impressive! I heard they missed out on the Top 10 by only 360 copies! I thought they would drop out of the Top 20 in the second week.
The single release was a complete joke.They would easily have got a Top 20 if there had been a physical CD release.

10,000 copies gets you a top ten at this part of the year. I think thats what bands like Erasure need to be aiming at. They are desperate for a top ten album, just to get back into the public eye. They should be able to shift 10,000 copies if the promotion is right, especially as they usually put a t.v advert out.

They could rush release Union Street 2. Record it in half a day, get the local druggie to do the cover art, and hey presto, they'll be in next week's top ten.
Or failing that just record a bunch of covers with the same backing track. More Other People's Songs.
They'll probably just release a greatest hits album though. It must be at least a month since their last one.

I'd say Other Peoples (ruined) Songs, is easily their worst album. I cannot believe they butchered the songs like that.
I can't see another GH package though. They have run out of colours for the artwork.

Wonderfully...........Least there still some great public taste out there, (shock horror).......... Been playing alot of there albums this week...and i forget how amazing Rubber Soul & Revolver are, remember these 2 albums came after the boy band image the had without the talent........ it all changed in 66.
