Would you believe Johnny Marr came on stage playing a didgeridoo? It was mental!
But no, he played his guitar. What else would you think?

No Bernhard, no Electronic
Except in most every other performance Johnny gives lately. Other than that, sure.
What does it matter? The 3 they did were nothing short of fantastic.
Well, because out of the complete list of PSB/Johny co-credits (see below) the Electronic songs are my favorites.
* **Getting Away with It**
* **The Patience of a Saint**
* **Disappointed**
* **This Must Be the Place I Waited Years to Leave**
* **My October Symphony**
* **Up Against It**
* **Home and Dry**
* **I Get Along**
* **Birthday Boy**
* **E-mail**
* **Love Is a Catastrophe**
* **The Night I Fell in Love**
* **You Choose**
* **Beautiful People**
* **Did You See Me Coming?**
* **Building a Wall**
* **Pandemonium**
* **Decadence**
* **Between Two Islands**
* **Searching for the Face of Jesus**
* **I Didn’t Get Where I Am Today**
* **I Want to Wake Up (Johnny Marr 1993 Mix)**
* **I Want to Wake Up (Johnny Marr Groove Mix)**
* **Rebel Rebel (Live at Hammersmith Apollo)**

I found the merch stand fairly civil this evening. Only one woman who thought she had a divine right to go in front of everyone, but other than that it was very ‘British queuing’.

So crushed I’m not able to fly over to UK to see this rare event. Likely the last time ever to hear these gems live, Neil is in 70’s after all. Hope that last 2 shows include Love is a Bourgois Construct somehow?

Highlights for me were Johnny Marr, Two Divided By Zero, Hit and Miss, Always, Up Against It, It Couldn't Happen Here, King's Cross, The King of Rome, Why Don't We Live Together?, Your Funny Uncle (Take 2), Later Tonight and The Way It Used To Be. Plenty of stone-cold classics.
However, too few bangers - no The Resurrectionist, In The Night, etc. Maybe it's showing Neil's age - he was sitting down a lot...
Also, it was a bit of a cliche to end with 'Here's a new song...' Naked is clearly about Trump.

Question: Are they checking ID at the gate?
Yes they absolutely are for young looking people.
I was there with my daughter (the goth girl if you saw her

) and they asked to see her ID. Luckily, I'd photocopied her passport and uploaded it to my phone, and so were able to go in immediately.
If I hadn't, they almost certainly would not have let her in.

He was sitting down as he was referring to the lyrics in front of him! That’s the only reason.
He gets through Dreamworld without sitting down at all…

Yeah, my 17 y/o was asked her age, but we weren't asked for ID. I guess we looked like honest people.
Unfortunately the bar wasn't really underage friendly. Would have been nice for the younguns to get mocktails but all she got was a pineapple juice.

When they asked her age she said 14, so they then asked for her ID.

If this doesn't come out on BluRay I will be very, very disappointed.
I'd be amazed if it did. This is a special event for superfans. It's niche by nature. As Neil said in that Guardian interview, if they played the same set in the Berlin Arena (sorry, sponsor, you don't pay me for your product placement), then half the place would go to the bar. In that context, not a chance this gets a commercial release.
Mind you, would make a lovely additional extra to Annually 2027...
Drico.
Yeah I’d be very surprised if they did any visual release of this - it’s just so expensive in professional paid time to do everything it needs re editing, picture grading etc etc for what, as you say, is a relatively die/hard fan appeal project. But I would actually be surprised if they didn’t put out a live album - audio-only needs relatively much less work (though far from none, sure); a double CD and triple vinyl set (no doubt with a PSB store exclusive coloured vinyl format) this autumn seems like a viable enough punt to wash its face for a few thousand units. Or as an outside bet, RSD ‘27 though it’s been a long long time since Neil and Chris last went near that.
