No, those who want an investigation are simply looking to establish the facts. In the absence of a UN investigation, Israel runs the risk of being considered a fascist sectarian pariah state in the eyes of many who would ordinarily be well-disposed to them. The propagandists you refer to will be delighted with Israel's refusal to have the truth established independently. Those seeking the truth will wonder why they refuse and come to their own conclusions.

I'm not the boat occupants biographers.the boat was from turkey. I could care less about the various ethnic groups on board.

the propaganists are delighted no matter what Israel does. its been a life long double standard.
meanwhile the UN doesnt seem to be bothered that a friendly south korean boat was blown out of the water by a north korean submarine yet want to be all CSI europe regarding a boat full of muslim thugs.
it doesnt do any good no matter what.turkey was well disposed to Israel.now, they seem interested in being another place that seems willing to trade standing by democracy to the long slow slide down to stupidity with muslim extremism with this stunt.

Oh, plenty are bothered. It's just that North Korea is a pariah state and Israel is supposedly a democracy.

And does Ireland seem "willing to trade standing by democracy to the slow slide down to stupidity with Muslin extremism" too? You do realise that an Irish ship was seized as well, don't you?
Your defence of Israel in these cases is ridiculous, Glenn. Seeing as you conflate the two crises, I look forward to your stout defence of the North Koreans' actions.

this Israeli assassinate a Hamas leader using foreign passports thing....can you imagine the things thru the years the CIA or british MI6 or SIS has done around the globe without applying for a work permit?
I'll tell you one thing....James Bond movies would totally blow if they were restricted by "Drico's rules for secret agent operations." your an example of how soft we are in the face of an enemy that is totally committed .
Israel's only problem is Israel's tactic got found out and got some press. thankfully only after sending another Hamas operative straight to hell where he's most likely getting boned by a 10 foot demonic clown.
Israel is protecting its civilians from a terrorist organization that the hilarious Palestinian people voted in and approve. the blockade is a necessity as weapons getting smuggled to Hamas from outside is the isssue
the north koreans had no fear of any attack by the south koreans.they straight up blew the boat away.
which is kinda Ironic since Israel didn't even do that and you should see why I say Israel used such restraint.

72 miles far from their own waters, entirely in open sea and international waters, Israel carried out an operation on a ship, a civil ship, not a military ship, one is not allowed even do this at all.
Where are the US, UK, EU,the UN, NATO, International laws?
The event :
The Ship: From Turkiye
Passengers : from 32 countries
Organizator : IHH
Pirates : Israel commandos
Result : 9 dead people...
No reaction against God's cursed children! Where are Obama, Sarkozy, Merkel and the others...
Let's change the senario:
The ship : From Turkiye
Organizator : IHH
Passengers : from 32 countries
Pirates : Iran commandos
Result : 9 dead people
America + Israel + UK + France + Germany + Italy + UK + UN + eu start barking....and probably start bombing Iran..
I always say The West has double face.Only Honoured people don't support Israel's last attack.

You don't live in this world. I can't see Hamas army. May be, to you, Gaza is bigger than texas.
If Israel has a right to protect its civilians (yes of course), Hamas has that right too.
US activist loses eye after being shot in face with tear gas canister

I think Hamas should protect its civilians. They must act.

International laws claims that if a boat is trying to break a siege, the country has the right to take over the ship, even outside the none-territorial water

If you read the "Allegations of terrorist affiliations", you will see that there is a link between IHH, Hamas and Al-Qaida. The later 2 are defined as terror groups.
I can't understand the Turkish hypocrite and care for other people after this:
Gaza strip is under siege, since it is controled by terror organization, who fires rockets towards Israel cities and holds a captured Israel soldier for over 4 years without giving him any basic rights (like visits from the red cross). The only reason that a siedge is being held is that the content of the supply must be inspected before it enters the strip (to make sure it does not contain weapens).
btw - Egypts are doing the same (closed all paths to the strip).
The fact that Erdoğan and Ahmadinigad stand together yesterday, claiming that 'Turkey and Iran are sisters' reveals the true face of Turkey
