It would be something original and different rather than repackaging the same old same old. Absolutely no interest in this collection, not even a new single to entice and not what I would even judge as a complete set of singles.

Yes they were. Brothers In Rhythm made a 7" mix which is not the one that has been released on the 7" single (the 7" Perfect Attitude Mix - that is only available on the US Maxi-CD of Seriously).
