The boys tend to monetize as much as they can. I expect a $500 limited edition laser disc.

UP AGAINST IT
Man, wish I was there for that one. Absolute dream.
Johnny could have easily stayed for Hit n Miss, very guitar oriented.
And I'd of loved to hear Neil sing "bet-she's-not-your-bet-she's-not-your-bet-she's-not-your-bet-she's-not-your!"

Yes they absolutely are for young looking people.
I was there with my daughter (the goth girl if you saw her

) and they asked to see her ID. Luckily, I'd photocopied her passport and uploaded it to my phone, and so were able to go in immediately.
If I hadn't, they almost certainly would not have let her in.
Yeah, my 17 y/o was asked her age, but we weren't asked for ID. I guess we looked like honest people.
Unfortunately the bar wasn't really underage friendly. Would have been nice for the younguns to get mocktails but all she got was a pineapple juice.
When they asked her age she said 14, so they then asked for her ID.
Ahh! Our kid doesn't look 14 so was quite surprised they asked. 16 was the adult accompanying cut off, but since I was right there when they asked, it seems to me more like someone just going through the motions.

"Up Against It" was incredible...I completely lost my mind as I had hoped for this on the plane from Los Angeles.
Neil flubbed a few lyrics, but no matter...I'd waited 30 years to hear this live.
Neil and Johnny's dual guitar playing on "The Truck Driver and His Mate" was also fabulous.
Overall, Wednesday's show felt tighter and simultaneously more confident and relaxed than opening night. I did miss hearing "To Face The Truth" again however.
So curious for Thursday and Friday's surprise tracks.
If you can get yourself there, GO! I found tonight's ticket on twickets.

Was the balcony open for everybody?
Most of it was - there are some reserved seats directly in front of the stage and the left side section (as you face the stage) was for VIPs ... but the rest was open to all.
But there is only that one balcony on the left side?
The balcony has a central and right hand section too. The right hand side is cursed with pillars but they seem to be structural so they have to be there!

I had no idea Up Against It had such a fanbase. I would have never guessed it.

Me too! Perfect retro high energy vibe, with the downbeat lyrics that (let's face it) work well today

Doesnât seem like anyone mentioned these points so iâll add them for the official record of the event:
1. at the end of Princess Juliaâs set Neil and Chris came out and gave her a GIANT bouquet of roses and wished her happy birthday. And then Neil said ânow forget you saw usâ and they scurried off
2. Wednesday was a benefit concert for War Child which Neil mentioned several times
3. For the customary band introductions at the end, instead of âon keyboardsâ, Neil introduced Chris as âqualified architectâ (which Chris corrected - ânot qualifiedâ) and himself as âa student of historyâ.

Yes, that was funny. I liked her set - plenty of Chicago House.

I wonder who, if anyone, will be additional guests? Kylie for "In Denial"? Francis Barber? Who else? What do we think?
