Going out in Brighton tonight for my best friend's birthday!

Finally I got a Christmas present via postal service today.

I had to take my cat Tigger to the emergency vet on Boxing day because he had a large abscess on his cheek. I saw it on Xmas day but there was nowhere to take him. He was still perfectly happy eating and drinking, and acted all happy and normal though. Almost certainly it was a bite or scratch that had got infected.
The vet lanced, drained and cleaned it and put him on antibiotics. Bill came to £171 .... Ah well .....

No, he was in the need of the second vaccination injection.

I'm sorry to hear that. Cats are said to be good actors when
they're ill.

Finished a painting (acrylic paint and paper collage). I hope my other
cat isn't seriously ill, she's obviously not well ...

but unfortunately my cat got ill, so I'll stay at home and watch Admi-

I went to the pet's hospital today, fortunately I could take my cat
back home. She's better after the treatment. I've got to show her
off tomorrow again, she will hate me for putting her into the box
again.

I was looking forward to the party but well, there's others but only
one Heidi, right?

Had some nice smoked salmon on Sunday night. Been running to the loo every 30mins ever since.

Just back from doctors. She agrees it was the smoked salmon that did it. Got to stay on a dry diet for a couple of days and take some medicine.

I wish a fast recovery. I'm back from work.
