It would seem odd to disclose two tracks before the LP has even been released... better to showcase them as a double A-side after the album is out, surely?

Perhaps this is a video-related issue... they may want Matt and David in the video for the flagship single... and I imagine they are NOT in the video for Minimal (unless the joke is at their expense: LB being a massive comedy hit that - certainly after the 1st series - involved 'minimal' effort  )

I reckon they're either doing 'I'm with Stupid' or 'The Sodom and Gomorrah Show' (since that is what they are...)

>One difficult question: do you think one of the songs could be a massive hit (Ex: go west, it's a sin)? (I know is difficult to answer that because it depens on different things not only the quality of the song, but try to answer it please).

Unlikely I would have thought. Integral has a chance of being a big club hit, if the clubs have the appetite for a 'Your Disco Needs You' style anthem.

yes it almost seems there is an orchestra or strings on virtually everytrack. that could just be though that its real on soem tracks and on others its basically synths mimiking an orchestra. because I dont recall hearing or reading they put strings on "excuses' or minimal" but according to daz it would imply there is.

I like "Go West" and I think is one of the best things PSB have done in the 90's.

Epic? Not really. Orchestral ballad yep. (7/10)
If you have a 50 piece orchestra and it doesn't sound epic...

I love Go West too :D

But i don't want them to go in that direction for a big hit .

I rather PSB have big hit without it being a bit camp. :D

The lyrics of "Integral" are not camp, it talks about politics.

all I have to say is this DazzerUKUK guy is a blessing from heaven. in the span of a couple of his posts we went from knowing virtually nothing, to basically having a feel of the character of each and every track.

Maybe some songs are weak, and PSB are secretly going back to the studio to make them stronger, especially Psychological. The promo was probably put out so PSB can get a feel on what songs are good and what songs are weak and fix it, maybe that is why for the delay.

I'm refusing to believe anything until my source informs me and/or the Boys post something on their website. Besides, there are more important things in life than waiting for a new album to be released. Get drunk, have a laugh, go down Alton Towers, mow the lawn, do charitable things... (OK we end the list of suggestions here)
