It's langourous. I really like Bilingual but Metamorphosis is my least favourite PSB track and really pisses me off when it kicks in so early. Still it prepared me for Nightlife and In denial.
I agree with the comments in the Bilingual re-issue booklet about the running order being flawed.

IMO its a brilliant PSB album - probably my 4th favourite...
I love the diversity of the album, and the only track I dislike is "Before" - their worst single EVER !
I think that "Single" and "Before" should have been replaced with the releases instead of "The Survivors" and "Discoteca"...
"A Red Letter Day" is one of my fave PSB tracks ever - and the whole production of Bilingual sounds very polished.

What can I say? Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Nice to see you're into OW.
Talking about Bilingual, I'm quite surprised about the reaction on Up against it and To step aside. many fans do not seem to like these two songs in particular (besides Before which is the worst PSB track or single IMO). I quite like them and I think they could have been singles.

I think the singles choice was right except for Before and The survivors (which should had been released). I love Up against it and I was really hooked to psb with Se a vida e. I nearly died on pleasure when I first listened to A red letter day. And I really believe that Discoteca is a huge song, sadly wasted in that soft and boring version of the Nightlife tour.
P.S: And I love Single-Bilingual(one of my psb favorites) and Se a vida e videos.

I love this album. Up against it is my most favourite and Saturday night forever my least on this album.

Imo it is a good album but single choices were wrong I mean Red Letter Day 9 then out of top 40 and Before is naff imo. I would have had Single as lead single then Se A Vide E, followed by The Survivors and finish with Discoteca

I really like the album... the production is a bit funny on "Up against it" but I'm one of those people who love "Electricity" and "Saturday Night Forever" and "Before"... I really cannot stand that awfully cheesy "Se A Vida E" though...

I first heard those words in that order in Eternety by RW, didn't realize it was by OW
A sentence I've thought about for quite a bit.
