Who cares? This country re-elected Blair last year so I doubt it.One of the crowd wrote:Brill they showed the political aspect of the song but will Joe Public get it?
And by the look of her, sold it for a packet of Old Holburn.joncool5 wrote:Jo Whiley sold her soul years ago.! wrote:aww, I like Jo Whiley, she's really sweet!Drico One wrote:as highlighted by the non-Jo Whiley presenter (in other words, the less ghastly one).![]()
I saw a girl once in my town centre who was wearing a blazer, t-shirt, ripped jeans, converse and yes, a top hat!One of the crowd wrote:There was Neil (sorry but Top Hat, Tee Shirt and Jeans do not go)
I think one's John Howard and the other may be the ex-Spanish PM.Drico One wrote:I chuckled at the dancing Bush, Blair, Clinton, and Putin head masks. I noticed two other characters in cut-out masks, one who may well have been Alastair Campbell.
One was David Cameron, with the other (I think) being Sir Menzies Campbell.Drico One wrote:I chuckled at the dancing Bush, Blair, Clinton, and Putin head masks. I noticed two other characters in cut-out masks, one who may well have been Alastair Campbell
I know what you mean about the masks - it wasn't what you call very professional having what looks like black-and-white-paper-on-cardboard-cut-out masks as part of what is meant to be a polished performance. IMO they should have just stuck to the Blair and Bush plastic masks. One of the crowd wrote:Am I the only one who wasnt inspired by tonights performance?
It didnt exactly saw "WOW" to me. There was Neil (sorry but Top Hat, Tee Shirt and Jeans do not go) singing along but same old hand movements and Chris miming to the keyboard!
The dancers look like they had just come from Fatboys "Praise You" promo, and I swear one of the masks was cut straight out of a newspaper.
Lol, I could be wrong.Janet Street-Porter wrote:I think one's John Howard and the other may be the ex-Spanish PM.Drico One wrote:I chuckled at the dancing Bush, Blair, Clinton, and Putin head masks. I noticed two other characters in cut-out masks, one who may well have been Alastair Campbell.
