Yup, looks like they chose a very good snippet from Casanova.

I'm with stupid is a good choice as far as I can hear it from the samples, yes.

I do like the seconds of Numb and twentieth century, because their wasn;t a lot of attention on this forum and these songs sound great.
Numb sound simple and strong.
Twentieth century is the big surprise for me; it does have nice warm synth. and electronic feeling (it goes deep). It's a kind of perfect feeling to me.
Psychological I do like also. did hear the instrumental one, but the lyrics fit the song perfectly.

Minimal sounds minimal and flat.

Integral will be the next single I assume, it's now more in my head this evening (mp3 downloaded). It's becoming stronger and stronger.
But as the last line sounds, perfect? I want a slammer number 1 like it's a sin, that's would be perfect.

But their are a lot of slow songs on it. I do prefer more electronic up tempo. Unfortunately Integral is up tempo but not a hard style of synths and beat.
I am missing such a song on this album.

bloody hell.....even 'God Willing' sounds great!!!

Psychological: 7/10 (Should be great live)
S&G: 7/10 (Very bizarre melody...)
IMMEAL: ? (The sample has only the intro...)
Minimal: 10/10 (A M A Z I N G but it should work better as a second single than a first single)
Numb: 6/10 (Boring)
God willing: 7/10
Luna Park: 6.5/10 (Might be a grower, but I'm not that sure about production...It's a slowed down "Kelly watch the stars" with exactly the same sounds...).
I'm with stupid: 7/10
Casanova: 8/10 (Could have been on the musical but at least it has a melody...).
20th century: 9/10 (Best track on the album! So electronic, warm and precise...I love it).
ILTR: 7/10 (Footsteps part 2, again with a better melody though).
Integral: 8/10 (Production seems a bit cheap compared to the other songs, but we haven't heard this PSB sound for a while...).

They seem to have worked a lot on melodies this time. The production is quite clever and seems to give a cohesive dreamy atmosphere to the album. Second half is quite better than the first.
Best tracks so far: Minimal and 20th century. The rest is quite in the vein of "Release" writing, not bad nor really memorable. A very 7/10 album like its predecessor, but consistently better than Bilingual and Nightlife.

Every track sounds superb. PSB are back.

i have to say this, but what were they THINKING choosing I'm with stupid as the lead single? minimal is absolutely awesome...(although on my first listen the M-I-N-I-M-A-L part reminded me way too much of the bit from enigma's "look of today") anyway...

i finally understand what my problem with the song is...the CHORUS. i don't like the chorus..its too common sounding..and without it the song is so much better (like in this sound clip)

so...from the clips i have to say that popjustice or whoever it was that said that fundamental is like "very"...were wrong.
i don't see how this can remotely compare to very...but that said, the album already sounds way better than release and that's all that matters to me!

Wow... everything sounds great (9/10) ... cant wait for the album... I just hope the vocoder effect is not over-used!... anyway Ill see when i get to hear it properly...

Fundamental is freaking AWESOME! I would give it a 10/10 if I werent so afraid of being labeled a nancyboy.

I'm going to have to wait until I hear longer clips (or clips in better parts of these songs) before I make up my mind... because not even one song sounds good on this album. "Integral" is good, but Neil is right in not mentioning it as a potential single, as it sounds like stuff they've done better before, and a bit dated and hollow (I love the chorus, though). Also, the non-sing-a-long lyrics won't appeal universally to other parts of the world other than the UK.

I think I have to hear longer clips, though, as this sounds like a massive disappointment. To be fair, however, some of the clips didn't even feature the choruses.

hate to say it, this album- quaint phrase- sounds mighty sucky.

Maybe i'll buy the import for "Fundamentalism", but I'm not impressed, and i think Neil kind of hates us PSB fans.

Let's let the old man retire- seriously, he's never been anything but hostile to PSB fans on the Internet. It's a shame. He dislikes us and suspects we are trading his songs. And of course, he's correct there. But any popstar could say the same.

I feel lately that we as fans ought to push ungrateful Neil into his wheelchair, tell him to just go retire to his country home, because he's always said when given a chance that he dislikes the net, dislikes us.

Go in peace, Neil. Let us not bother you anymore.

But Mr Moderator of the Erasure forum, surely you can't say all the songs are rubbish. Especially as you claim to LOVE PSB and you have been on the PSB forum for all of 2 weeks And especially with those example i posted in the Union Street thread, where you slagged off PSB time after time. Surely you must be listening to a different album. You LOVE PSB....

Are you for real? It seems that you post just for a laugh. How can you say that it's going to be their worst album to date when you haven't heard the tracks? If you post 30 seconds of any song that you haven't heard before, it will sound so very different from the full length version.
