Thank you Bill for your great work for about 10 years and hope to see your own fan site soon! Good luck with all new projects!

Thanks for everyone's kind words. It does mean a lot to me. It was my goal was to build a site for both PSB and us Fans. Sometimes I reached my goal and other times not...but it was a great experience and I enjoyed it very much. :)

thank you, Redman, for doing such a wonderful job. what a labor of love...

I've a question: will the new design still uphold the Q&As that were there before (from all the previous years) and also all the media room stuff? I love watching the vids and reading those old Q&As. :)

Thanks. :) Q&A is gone. You will be able to sample audio and video in the new site. I'm not sure of how much content will have audio and video samples or how long those samples will be but I know its present.

oh no! I loved reading those Q&As!! they were so quirky and cute and very revealing at times!

but why are they gone?! why can't they be kept somewhere in a link or something? okay that makes me sad.

I love that one where some girl writes to neil about her bf being crap to her and asking neil what to do about him. his answer was classic: sing I don't know what you want but I can't give it anymore and let go of this relationship (I'm paraphrasing a bit). :)

anyways, time to rewatch the vids before they disappear!

thanks, redman!

Vids are unwatchable and have been for some time. When the hosting company switched servers, they messed up my video stuff. When I told them there was a problem, they said there was not. So...we went round and round and finally when I began to comp up the new site, I decided to just wait to fix this my way. At any rate, that never came about. The new site is nearly 100% flash, unless they've changed it in the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure its a safe bet that their samples or full length video content will be handled within in the flash interface.

You are not the only person that would like to save the existing Q&A section. Perhaps I can get permission to keep this alive in the new fan site. No promises but I'll try.

It´s so sad thing that Q&A won´t ever come back.
I still remember watching live version of King´s Cross on official site back in 1999. Will there be some live performances and interviews ?

From the last thing I saw, live performances and interviews were not present. Again, 4 weeks is a lot of time to change things, so anything is possible.

Didn't get to do everything I wanted to do our thought would be cool and fun to do..but still it was a great experience and one I never thought I would get when I was buying their music before '96. :) I'll be around in one form or another....my designer for the new concept and I have kicked around the idea of launching our concept as a fan site. We both would like to do it but I'm not sure we've decided to do it yet. But if we do, it would be unlike any other fan site for any band.
A new fan site would be great. With these sites you can do other things that you normally can't do with a official site.
Just remember Mr Redman that when the new company has delays and bodges up and the Pets come crawling back from their dumper, to negotiate a huge pay rise with them first and make them grovel!

In the meantime, would be good if you did do your own site still with the lyrics etc on. I personally have thought you've always done an excellent job and it has had useful bits on like release dates, lyrics etc - even birthday cards. So continue to show 'em what they're missing because it's not only the formats they've bodged up. You're a positive role model for the other company to follow... :) Content is much more important than how pretty a site is. And a site done by a fan is going to get more effort into it than any design company.

Well, thats awesome..you're a lucky one! :) I built these pages and I can't even get them to play back. I've never been particularly happy with how they had media serving set up...but...well, enjoy them while they are there. Can't tell you what the plan will be moving forward with the new site.
