A similar search here would have meant that there was no need for 23 separate threads all about Numb but to keep the forum tidier and easier to read all relevant info in one place. The Robbie album thread is a good example.
I see what you mean. But I don't know why you replied more than 10 threads about "Numb" (old and new ones) the same day.

Same info from the official site:

“Minimal”, the new PSB single which is released next week, has been chosen as Record of the Week on the Colin and Edith Show on BBC Radio One. Mixes of the song were also played on the station over the weekend on the Eddie Halliwell and Blue Room shows.

To watch the video of “Minimal” on this site, go to the PRODUCT and then the SINGLES section

It will be interesting to see if the Radio 1 exposure makes any difference.

For the many of you who obsess about Radio 1's importance, a top five position may endorse your view.

It will be interesting to see what happens........

Ever heard of the phrase 'making a point'? Moderators of forums are capable of locking threads that are about the same subject, or combining them, though it didn't happen here.

Don't you mean 'It couldn't Happen Here?' ;)

I heard this when I was on my work, pulled over and sent a text and Colin read it out... 'Dave, on his way to work'. Ooh.

Times have changed, but between Behaviour and Bilingual, when all PSB singles got played on Radio 1, commercial stations and frequently got near the top of the airplay chart, the singles were still not massive hits and the sales effect on the respective albums were not that great.
Perhaps now, because PSB getting airplay on radio 1 and Capital is something of a novelty, we may see some benefit sales-wise but I'm not certain.

Anyway, let's just take in the fact that this week at least, our favourite group are being played on Radio 1, Radio 2 and Capital. Enjoy!

I would like to see PSB again at the top of the charts it would be great, that's all.

What about your obssesion searching old threads (like the ones which talked about Numb)?.

b) Well you should know - you started most of the threads!
More of them are dated now. I don't see the reason to talk about them again (one year later).
I didn't start one single thread about Numb, whereas you, dickname, started FOUR separate Numb threads since May alone, plus another one on the "third single - EMI's dilemma". That is stupid, stupid, stupid.

It's on again.

(Yes, I know it's being played every day this week)

Um, maybe something along the lines of 'This is the Pet Shop Boys and Minimal, and it's our CD burner as we really like it.' :? Hold the front pages.
