From the many funny PSB lyrics, I want a Dog always makes me smile.
First two verses:
I want a dog, a Chihuahua
When I get back to my small flat
I want to hear somebody bark
Oh, you can get lonely
I want a dog
Don't want a cat
scratching its claws all over my habitat
giving no love and getting fat
Oh, you can get lonely
and a cat's no help with that
Woof!

Go to a club, you think I'll be there
I don't go 'cause I'm not a member
That's my impression - a great lyric. I love all the lyrics to Yesterday, when I was mad too.

Hmmm, if you've got a bit of mind for double meanings, then:
"who will give whom the bigger surprise?"
is very comical.
Also I like:
"you dance to disco and you don't like rock".

yeah, I love this one too.
also (regardless of what you think of the song):
'and I said that was cool,
cos I was already late for school
by then'
brilliant.

I'd have to be seriously drunk before I could find any PSB lyric "funny"

I think The truck-driver and his mate is quite a funny song. The idea of these two macho truck drivers dancing in the moonlight just makes me laugh
"Parked inside the lay-by
their destination can wait
dancing in the moonlight
the truck-driver and his mate"

joe stalin wrote:I'm not too sure you can attribute the YMIWM lyric to Neil coz the bit 'you've made such a little go a very long way' was actually written in Jonathon Kings last article in the Sun Newspaper when he was leaving as part of his opinion on the PSB. Far too many favourite quotes but not that many that I consider funny as such. JS
Having read your comment I guess that part is no longer funny to me...
wait...
hold on...
just a second...

No...it's still funny...

"you've got the brawn, I've got the brains; let's make lots of money!"
for some reason, that line always makes me laugh.

It doesn't often snow at Christmas:

I'll go for that 'matches' lyric from 'So hard'... classic.
