I want the cool PSB-Videos back, not this wanna-be arty non commercial thing.

Does this Video appeal to viewers who are not die-hard PSB-Fans?

Another chance missed.

It's beautiful! I'm actually watching it here in Moscow (working here for a few weeks) which obviously makes it even more special.
We’re different from the others.
No one understands us here.

If it's not official, why have credits at the very end?? I say, it's official! And it's too expensive-looking. Fanmade stuffs are always bad qualitys, and cheaps.

Looks pretty genuine. Clearly a brilliant video and I think the best since the Very era or maybe Behaviour. Definitely their most 'arty' one of all time (and not a mouse in sight)

It’s very Sad, with beautiful images. I do wonder what they are trying to get across with the being tied up thing in two separate videos? I like it.

The official one in my eyes!

The strange thing is, that this seems to be the 'long version' of the video! That one which will come out should be around 4min04sec.
The movie behind is an old russean silend movie of the 20s.

once again:

PSB never will get an "accessible single" anymore! Regardless of what they'll do! Don't blame it on them, and also not on the record company. The reasons were discussed here million times...

A song about wanting to feel Numb could hardly be filled with bling and bikinis now could it?

No bling - no bikinis - no gangstas - no commercial appeal.

So be it - it's beautiful.

Retro. :)

What really amuses me is that it was nothing like the big piles of Ron Howard/Bruckhiemer crap as suggested on here. I don't mind the Citizen Kane look.

And if you look closely at the 4.22 mark, it's noneother than Vince Clarke 8)

However, love it or not, it's neither here nor there, the video will hardly get any airplay anywhere, certainly not enough to inspire loads of people to rush to the local record shops and say 'I like that song that looks like 'It's a Russian Wonderful Life, you know, they played it on the world cup...it's dead sad...ooh, it brings tears to me eyes...it's proper good...'

But of course, the single will barely dent the top 30, no matter how triumphant Neil looks.

PSB still have their sales! But no one can count them really nowadays! If they don't have sales, they already were droped by the record company.
And why the video shot? Maybe to do something, you have to do in these days, by releasing a single.

Same with the London video, which only was for a single release in Germany! I don't ask anymore about this business. Let they do their plans! And the video is another one, for my collection!

No comment on the artistic aspect...
No comment if the average Pethead will appreciate it...
No comment if the general public will appreciate it...
No comment on how it may affect chart position...

With all of that mentioned:

Boring.
If I never see the video again in my life
it won't bother me in the slightest.

I agree. I have watched the Numb video once and feel absolutely no compulsion to watch it again. I have enjoyed the overwhelming majority of the Pets' videos previously, but this one really doesn't float my boat. Hey ho!

Chris must be thrilled though - no filming whatsoever required!
