It would wouldn't it as I thought if the maxi consited of more than one song i.e numb and china it could run for no longer than 20 mins.

Apart from that I wish people would stop complaining about BYT. I still haven't heard it. The Maxi CD contains a new song, an unreleased song and a demo (which is something I'm always interested in, perhaps because I'm a musician myself), so I'm happy with it.

I can't see what is wrong with this single release. I am willing to buy this cd single, because:
1) I have never heard "Bright young things"!
2) there's another new song on it too! and
3) even if you've already got the Fundamental album, here you'll get a different version of "Numb" - that's an unusual thing to do, isn't it?
4) the video is a nice bonus (even though I don't care much for this one)

The "Minimal" single was a failure in many ways: the new tracks was released only on DVD and/or not released together. Besides it seems that the single wasn't even released in Sweden, but I wouldn't have bought it anyway. I mean, three different formats to get two new songs?!? Or whatever...
At least "Numb" - let alone that the song itself doesn't make it a good single - is a "real" cd single!

But you're allowed to have only three different songs on a maxi cd. If you replaced China with for example Numb (demo), only then it would be eligible. [/i]

It seems PSB are saving many, many songs. Even some of the 2002 demo's haven't been officially released yet. Does anyone have a full list of unreleased songs recorded ever since? (or in total)

Thanks for the list, Pertan. I added the new songs and made the songs bold that are known, or were played in public. If I don't count the covers, there are about 53 PSB songs we never heard. BTW: There's also a demo version of Nine Out Of Ten, set to completely different music, that remains unreleased.

I can't wait for the official tracklist! I want it now!:D:D

I thought it's just a speculation. I hope it's not the official. I don't want West End girls live to b-side, once cos I don't like this song, twice cos I don't like live recordings. And I want a DVD!

it doesn't matter what you want! This song is the official promotion track for the 'Concert' CDs and you have to buy it

but it wasn't as good as Left to my own devices!

that slow orchestral start, then chris' beat pounding through, then the audience realizing what track it is (a little late in the day, actually ), and hooting and shouting and yelling, then clapping along... perfection!

Left to my own devices should have been the b-side for Numb and the promo track for the concert! it was sung way better than West End girls. it's always been the quintessntial PSB track to me. I wooooooood if cooooood.

Yes, there are also mentioned several song titles in
'Literally' # 30 I had never heard of before. Neil has
written on them while writing for 'Fundamental' ...
... and 'Luna Park' has already been written in 2003
for example ...

New songs have not been used for the album while
others, old ones, have found their way on it. 'Fugiti-
ve' was an old demo from '98 and has been worked
over.
