Here's what was @ NME.com today:

The Killers announce new single
'Read My Mind' to be released on February 26
The Killers are set to released their new single 'Read My Mind' on February 26.

The track is the third single to be taken from 'Sam's Town' following 'Bones' and 'When You Were Young'.

The single will feature new B-sides and remixes, including one from the Pet Shop Boys.

Chillout !>...they are working together simply because they like each other a lot...Did you watch Life in POP? ....I think both acts are great and I am always thrilled when people I admire like each other and work together , it just comforts me in my musical tastes!...Fortunately this happens a lot.
The Killers always take great care in their remixes ( Mylo - Somebody told me , and the kick-ass Stuart Price mix of Mr Brightside). I cant wait to hear this one and I hope this time there will be a proper Maxi CD release ( unlike the previous 2 singles) .

So is the version being played on the radio a mild PSB remix? Is it different to the version on the album?

"Read My Mind" - for me, it's weak song. But a catchy tune as it is, it has some potential which, I expect, Chris may develop in right direction.

I read on a Killers fansite that some remixes will be available as digital downloads on iTunes. I wouldn't be surprised if the long PSB remix is one of them.

I just got an e-mail from the killers german site. You can preview the pet shop boys mixes there: http://www.vertigo.fm/_artists/thekillers/

The pet shop boys mixes are:
Read My Mind (Pet Shop Boys Radio Edit)
Read My Mind (Pet Shop Boys Stars Are Blazing Mix)

Based on the previews, I'm not too impressed though (sounds very similar to the original). And it seems that the remixes/EP will be only available on iTunes.
