Same with Chris........... in my opinion, chris doesnt seem to come across as being gay. if i was to bump into him in a shop or on the street and i didnt have a clue who he was, i reckon he would come across as straight to me. i think that chris isnt quite interested in having a relationship with anybody, male or female, i think he has chose the wise way and stuck with his career and ambitions. he's just fine solo too i think.
But yeah, they are really good friends and even they are surprised that they are still such close friends. it wouldnt surprise me if Neil was attracted to Chris at the beginning because Chris was a very attractive young lad......... who wouldnt be attracted to him????

It does not matter much to me what kind of relationship they have. All I know is that they have been like close friends like brothers for years so only natural they would take some holidays together.

I can imagine neil being attracted to chris in the beginning but it probably wasn't acted upon just 'cos neil can be such a tightass. I can imagine the fantasies, the longing, the yearning, the sheer torture might have yielded some juicy material to cogitate on and write fantastic songs with.
and I concur about neil aging VERY gracefully. when I met him last october here in Washington, DC after their concert... oh MY! *fans herself* suffice to say that my drive home was way more dangerous to the other drivers than it should have been. he's way hotter than I'd ever imagined. those eyes, those lips, the way he glanced down at me and held my gaze for a few seconds... he's really attractive, folks. I'm not kidding. I am a straight woman but if it ever came to it, I wouldn't be able to refuse him a single thing. he's totally my weakness, over a lot of other highly attractive, straight men.
and I'm sure that a few other straight women haunting this board might fully concur.

Oh, thanks for writing this about Neil. I was just thinking about the same thing, although I've never met him.
He should smile more often. He has a wonderful smile...
