OK, this sure looks like a contest between "Bright Young Things" with 8 votes so far and "I'm With Stupid" with 7 votes. Luna Park is next with 4 votes, while CIH and IMMEAL have 3 votes each and TSAFS and The Resurrectionist have two votes each.

Here's hoping that I'm With Stupid will get the boot. Unless there's suddenly a clearcut margin in favour of one track, this will stay open until tonight.

BlueSwan wrote:Yet, Bright Young Things is not a ballad. It's an uptempo track. And a very very good one at that. So why all of the votes? The only explanation I can think of is that most people here heard the demo version of it first and then couldn't get into the studio version. I personally find the studio version far superior to the demo version, but there definitely is a tendency for people to like the version they heard first the best.
Yeah, I just can't warm to the released version. The demo is one of my most favourite psb tracks of all time.

I prefer the clearer, crisper vocals of the demo version to the more processed vocals of the studio version, however, overall I do prefer the studio version. Particularly the last minute or so. I consider it to be a top ten b-side track.

I missed the last two rounds and this song is still left:

Bright young things - it's time to leave!

I have not heard the demo version, but the track is a lot less good than all of the fundamental tracks.
