A song?
A couple of songs?
A whole album?
A book?
A video?
A costume?
A tour?
A whole era?

Hummm... hard question!!... I'd go with Home and Dry video. God! What were they thinking?!?!
Since many people answer all questions, I will also do it.

A song? - Electricity. I wish it hadn't been recorded, so that it wouldn't have been on Bilingual. Hit Music is a good #2 on this list, by the way.

A single? - I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, like I explained before. Followed by the mutilated radio edit of Numb and Where The Streets Have No Name.

An album? - I could do without Disco 2...

A book? - Literally; the magazines. Full of old news and poor polaroid pictures...

A video? - Home And Dry, obviously.

A costume? - The Nightlife outfit was a big miss. I like PSB much better when they look natural. The Nightlife costumes were a poor rehash of the Very-era.

A tour? - None, actually. Although the performance at Live8 wasn't exactly great...

A whole era? - Nearly impossible. Every PSB era has its own charm and its own great songs, sometimes hidden on albums or as B-sides.

Sorry. I thought it looked ridiculous at the time and my opinion has just strengthened since then. The whole Nightlife era didn't do much for me, but there were some good bits. Seeing "Montage" restored my faith a bit - some excellent live versions there. :D
The tour was great ... can you forgive her? was sublime...

The 60s retro look for I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing/ & video
Disco 2
Somewhere
New York City Boy - I really thught they crossed the line here. Such an unnecessarily camp song, and the live performances with the Studio 54 crowd and Neil in that gross shiney brown jacket - they just looked old and sounded desperate.
Homosexuality - The song
Closer to Heaven - Musical

I can understand what some people say about I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more...but I think that the only thing that may be erased is the choice of it as a single...I also think it´s a weak single, but it fits perfectly on the album...I like pretty much the song after hearing it flowing on Nightlife...
Something similar happens with Before...

- Closer to Heaven (the musical)
- New York city boy video - I actually don't mind the song, but the video sucks. The kid looks as New York as the Eiffel Tower.
- Ab Fab - They should have released Shameless as a charity record 'cause releasing a charity record is a shameless thing to do.
- Home and Dry video - the song might've scraped into the top ten had it had a proper video.
- releasing Was it worth it?, I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing, Liberation, Single-Bilingual, Somewhere, I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, I get along, and Numb as singles

Agree. Great album tracks. Not lead singles.

I'd like to erease all the embarrasing, tacky, rude stuff that I have to hide from my parents and friends. Songs like "Je T'aime Moi Non Plus" "The Night I Fell In Love" make them go eeew! :) Like most of the "Discovery" show...

Sex can be presented in a classy and appealing way. When PSB try to be sexually provocative they always do it in the most tasteless and appalling way. Don't know why...

I felt the same when Madonna roared "Come on you m............! at live earth the other day. Why does this wonderful artist have to throw shit on her audiences like that? I've gotten used to her but I feel sorry for those who are more sensitive...

Disco 2, obviously... but I've another to throw in: Was It Worth It? For me it was the first time I felt the absence of PSB mystique. :(

That really annoying hook in the middle of Forever In Love and the 'ya'll ready' bit - a fantastic track but those bits are so bloody tacky 90's.

Disco 2 - I know it's been said many times before but it's cack.

A song? If love were all, or possibily Sail Away
A whole album? Disco 2
A book? I love them all
A video? All the Release videos
A costume? Any costume. Chris should stick to wearing hip Japanese designs, Neil looks best in a suit.
A tour? Any chance to see them live is great, so no.
A whole era? To quote dVTB, any era has its tarnishes. And even the darkest era - Bilingual to Nightlife - had some hidden gems.

Neil publically coming out.

Not because I have any problem with his sexuality whatsosever, so please no one take offence, but because I honestly and sadly believe it affected their record sales and public perception for the worse.

I want PSB world domination ;)
